Song Kang

I killed my engine before getting out of my car. I needed to check on Won-Yung, I haven't talked to him since Halloween. I've been busy helping Lotus get settled in at Lilacs.

I knocked on the door as the sound of arguing filled my ears. I twist the knob before walking inside, I walked toward the kitchen to see Won-Yung yelling up a storm.

"What do you want us to do? Put your sister out?" Mr.Lee asked.

"PUT HER ASS IN AN PSYCH WARD! HOW CAN WE JUST SIT BACK AND LET LOTUS LEAVE?!" He yelled.

"We offered her the apartment in Seoul." Mr.Lee said.

"Right because an empty apartment is better than being around people who she thought were her family." Won-Yung scoffed.

"YOU THINK I WANTED HER TO LEAVE! HUH! SHE IS LIKE A DAUGHTER TO ME!" Mrs.Lee yelled.

"Umm. Hi." I said.

They all looked at me and sighed.

"Kang, now's not the time." Mr.Lee said.

"No, actually I'm glad you're here. What do you think we should've done?" Won-Yung asked.

"It's really not my place." I shook my head.

"No, you're as close to Lotus as the rest of us." Won-Yung said.

I sighed.

"I...if I were in your shoes Ingrid would have to leave. Yes you guys did offer her the apartment in Seoul but...just abandoning her when Ingrid was the one in the wrong...that wasn't cool. That's just me though." I said.

"Ingrid's 17, we can't put her out." Mr.Lee said.

I nodded.

"So because Lotus is 18 we can kick her ass to the curb?" Won-Yung asked.

"That's not-"

"Mom that's exactly what we did...she barely trusted us and now? Oh yeah that's out the window." He said.

"Ok, let's go get some air." I said grabbing his forearm.

"This is bullshit, Ingrid is a nuisance." Won-Yung said as I continued dragging him out the house.

"Won-Yung, I know you're mad but-"

"No buts, this is wrong." He sighed.

"Look, I know. Trust me I know, but Lola is fine. We graduate in just 2 months-"

"Oh no, what if she chooses Duke?" He asked interrupting me.

I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Look, we'll worry about that later. How about we go out, do some shopping or something?" I asked.

"I don't want to do any fucking shopping. I want to see Lotus." He sighed pulling out his phone.
