I zipped my duffle bag up and let out a breath before grabbing my phone. I flopped on my bed and scrolled, today was my last meet...and I was nervous. Everyone was going to be there...including college scouts.

"LOTUS, KANG IS HERE!" Mrs.Lee yelled.

"COMING!" I yelled.

I sat up and grabbed my duffle before tossing my phone in it. I walked out of my room, just as I closed my door I seen Ingrid.

"Good luck on your championship meet. Hope you don't fall down these stairs." She smirked folding her arms.

I looked at her and squinted my eyes.

"I dare you." I said.

She looked at me and gulped before I slowly walked down the stairs.

"Oh ok." I said as I continued.

Ingrid...I already knew what to expect with her. She didn't like the relationship I had with her parents or her brother. ESPECIALLY! With Kang.

"Hey, you have a package." Mrs.Lee said.

I looked at the box she was holding and felt a lump form in my throat.

"I'll open it after the meet." I said.

She nodded placing it on the table, she embraced me in a hug and rubbed my back.

"I'll see you at the game love you." She said.

I smiled as I released her.

"Love you too." I smiled.

She patted my butt and nudged me.

"Go." She chuckled.

I smiled before quickly running out of the house. Kang sat on his hood in his Moon High track suit with white sneakers. His hair was covering his forehead and he held a cold stare.

"Hi." I said.

He looked at me and smiled before opening the door.

"Hey, are you ready?" He asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I said sapping my fist to his.

I got into the car as he swiftly took my duffle off my shoulder. He closed the door as I buckled my seatbelt. He made his way to the drivers seat before he began buckling in.

"I'm still shocked Whim is able to compete." He chuckled starting the engine.

"We beat them before, we can do it again." I said as he pulled off.

"Good thing we changed plays." He said.

I nodded, they'll be expecting me to be the head of the relay but it'll be Kang. Since I'm fast than him he'll have an advantage of a few seconds.
