Lotus Jones

I wiped the sweat off my forehead as I watched my teammates warm up. I looked at the bleachers and smiled when I seen Kang.

"HONEY!" He waved wildly.

I smiled before jogging over towards him. I climbed up the barricade before he grabbed my arms.

"I thought you had class." I smiled.

He pulled out a towel and pat my forehead as he smiled.

"I couldn't miss your first meet." He smiled.

He pecked my lips.

"Thank you for coming." I said.

"Of course, Lilac and Won-Yung sends there good lucks." He said.

I smiled before I climbed down. It's been almost a month since college has started and we've all been busy.

"JONES YOU'RE UP!" Coach Si yelled.

I nodded, I walked to the start line and looked at my opponent.

"Good luck." She said.

"Thank you, you as well." I smiled.

I let out a breath before the sound of the gun filled my ears. I took off as fast as I could, I looked over at my opponent before picking up the pace.

"RUN BABY! RUN!" Kang yelled.

I ran across the finish line and let out a scream. I watched the replay from the Jumbotron and nodded my head approving.

Coach Si smiled and patted my back as we walked back to the stands.

"Good work Jones." She said.

"Thank you." I said.

I sat back and looked at the crowd before noticing Krystal and Kang having small talk.

Krystal...is weird, I often catch her starring at me. More like admiring, I swear I told Kang she has a crush on me.

Once the meet was over and we received our medals. I shook hands with my opponents before walking to Kang.

"Flash." He smiled.

I chuckled as he pecked my cheek.

"Good Job Lotus." Krystal smiled.

"Thanks." I said.

"I was just telling Kang how good you were." She stuttered.

"Thank you for coming." I smiled.

She smiled and nodded as Kang and I walked away.

"I'm telling you she's weird." I said.

"She's a sweetheart." He laughed.

I rolled my eyes.
