Song Kang
I laughed and threw my head back as I watched Won-Yung try to imitate Lotus's taunting. We just finished our meet and of course we won, Lotus laughed harder causing me to smile. I was happy that she was smiling, sometimes I'll catch her zoning out but I was happy we were distracting her.
"I do not do that." Lotus laughs.
"Yes you do, once you pass them you start waving." Won-Yung chuckled.
She laughed and shook her head re adjusting her duffle bag. I swiftly took it from her hands as we continued walking to the school parking lot.
"Whatever." She chuckled.
"Are you guys going to celebrate?" Won-Yung asked.
"No-"
"Yes, can you believe Lotus still hasn't been to a karaoke lounge?" I asked interrupting her.
She looked at me before focusing on Won-Yung.
"You have to go." Won-Yung said.
She looked between us and huffed before nodding.
"Fine. I want to go home first and shower. We can ride together." She said.
"Deal." Won-Yung smiled.
They high fived each other letting there forearms pass before they low fived one another.
"Race you home?" Won-Yung asked walking to his car.
"Deal." She said getting into her car.
She rolled her window down as I leaned down on the hood.
"I still have your duffle." I said.
"Throw it in the back." She said.
I nodded opening the backseat. I placed it into the car before closing the door.
"COME ON!" Won-Yung yelled honking his horn.
She laughed.
"See you later." She said putting on her seatbelt.
I stepped back as she backed out of the parking spot.
"PLEASE DRIVE SAFE!" I yelled.
Lotus honked before they both took off, I shook my head.
"Hey Kang."
I looked up too see Ingrid.
"Ingrid? What are you still doing here?" I asked.
"I always watch your meets. Congrats on the win by the way." She said.
I scratched my head, this was awkward.
"Thanks, are we uh good?" I asked.
"Yeah. I was on my way to chess club." She said pointing over her shoulder.
I nodded.
"Oh ok, well I'll see you." I said.
"Yeah, see you." She said.
