She must destroy her other half.

As She searches for her target,
A vile man prepares his assault.

A vision of a human harmed,
begins the path to Her mate.

Her prey in sight, ready for the kill,
She hesitates, unsure how to feel.

Consumed with ambivalence;
She finally makes a decision.

Threatened and Cast out of Hell,
She chooses to learn about Her.

Keeping distance; far away,
She watches, day after day.

As Darkness observes Light,
Light, in turn, watches Her.

With words finally spoken,
Something changes within.

With an offer of a lovely meal,
They have a heart-to-heart.

Upon the uttered word,
She feels it in her Soul.

With eyes as white as snow,
It's undeniable; She's whole.

Unveiling what lies within;
She opens up, trusting Her.

Fears and unknowns dissipate,
They take turns learning more.

In awe of what was witnessed;
They start growing closer.

A workday with Her mate;
A disturbance materializes.

Never once did this occur;
She giggles, falling for Her.

Though unsure and inexperienced,
She attempts romantic gestures.

As their bond sizably strengthens,
Three heartfelt words are confessed.

Realizing what matters most,
They set plans in motion.

Something has changed;
She can feel her Heart ripping.

Upon waking from the fight,
She feels Her mate's pain.

When She finally finds Her,
The sight was tormenting.

Filled with immense guilt,
She apologizes tenfold.
