Geo woke up in an empty bed. She looked around for Vi but she was long gone. Geo removed her clothes from last night and removed the ornaments in her hair. She changed into a comfortable pair of pants and a shirt.

She went looking for Vi in Caitlyn's house.

She heard voices behind a door and was about to enter but stopped halfway.

"I say she confronts her mother," an accented voice said, which was most definitely Caitlyn.

Another woman in the room let out a sigh.

"I say she shouldn't," the woman said, her voice heavy with exhaustion.

There was a pause before Caitlyn spoke again.

"She can't be a coward like you Vi."

Are they talking about me? Geo opened the door slightly to get a better look.

Vi's eyes darkened at Caitlyn's words, a wave of anger passing over her face.

"That's not fair, Cupcake," she said, her voice tight. "And you know it."

Caitlyn sighed again, leaning back in her chair. "Maybe not. But you have a habit of avoiding problems or facing them head-on with your fist."

Vi let out a scoff. "That's rich, coming from you, Ms. Sheriff 'Shoot before asking questions.'"

Caitlyn rolled her eyes, clearly used to her partner's sharp retorts. "At least I can admit when I'm wrong," she said. "And I'm not afraid to take responsibility."

Vi glared at her. Caitlyn met her gaze.

"I know you're just using her." Vi spat.

Caitlyn's eyebrows furrowed at Vi's words. "Using her?" she echoed, her voice rising in incredulity. "What are you talking about?"

"You are using her to lure out Ambessa and be a beacon of hope to the citizens, but once she becomes of no use to you, you'll toss her like street trash." Vi narrowed her eyes.

Caitlyn's eyes widened at Vi's harsh accusation. "That's not true," she protested, her voice taking on a defensive edge. "You know I would never do that."

Vi scoffed, crossing her arms across her chest. "Really?" she said, her voice laced with bitterness. "Cause you did it to me."

Caitlyn froze, her face blanching at Vi's words. "That's not... I didn't..." she began, faltering as she struggled to find the right words.

"You did," Vi cut in sharply, her voice low and accusing. "You used me. I was nothing more than a tool to help you solve your little Piltover mystery. A monster from the Undercity that you could poke and prod at all you like, just because you're a curious Piltie noble that thinks she can fix anything."

Caitlyn stared at her, her eyes wide and filled with a mix of hurt and guilt. But Vi was not finished. She slammed her hands down on the table, her voice rising angrily.

"You act like you care, you act like you're all concerned. But when push comes to shove, you'll always choose what's best for yourself and your precious Piltover. You don't care about us filthy undercity scum... you only care about what we can do for you."

Caitlyn's face hardened. "Well, you're not so innocent either. You're only using Geo to fill up that empty hole. First, it was alcohol now it's her."

Geo stiffned. That wasn't true. Was it?

Vi felt like she'd been slapped in the face. She recoiled, her heart clenching at Caitlyn's words.

"That's not true," she protested weakly, her voice losing all the anger it had moments ago.
