Vi stood in a cell facing the wall. After Geo left, Vi tried to free Jinx and get her to help them take down Ambessa, but Jinx had just left. Just like that.

Vi held back tears. Everything was falling apart so fast.

She heard the door open and turned to see Geo.

"Caitlyn told me you'd be here." Geo walked into the cage.

Vi turned back to the wall. "I thought- I thought she would help."

Geo leaned on the wall next Vi, twirling keys in her hands. "The undercity's helping. Caitlyn's rallying them together along with Jayce. They want us to attend a meeting.

Vi didn't say anything but leaned her head on the wall. "Geo I'm sorry."

Geo stopped twirling the keys. "What?"

"I'm sorry ok?" Vi turned to face her. "I was such an asshole for thinking only for myself."

Geo looked at Vi, her expression softened. She didn't know quite how to respond to the apology. Her eyes lingered on Vi's face, taking in the sadness and regret there.

After a moment of silence, Geo finally spoke. "I appreciate the apology," she said quietly. "And I understand where you were coming from. But..."

She paused, struggling to find the right words. "But we're in the middle of a war. We can't afford to be fighting each other. We need to stick together."

Vi started to talk, but Geo interrupted her. "It's ok if you want to be with Caitlyn, really." Geo looked away. "I get it. You know her longer and you've been through more together."

Vi looked at Geo, her eyes widening in surprise. She felt a pang of guilt and regret that Geo thought she wanted to choose Caitlyn over her.

"No, Geo," she said firmly. "It's not like that. I want to be with you."

The words hung in the air, and the weight of Geo's insecurities and fears suddenly bared.

"You... You want to be with me?" Geo repeated, her voice barely above a whisper.

Vi took a step closer, closing the small gap between them. She took Geo's hands in her own, holding them tightly.

"Yes, Geo," she said, her voice sure and steady. "I want to be with you. I don't care what we've been through, or what obstacles we may face in the future. All that matters to me is that I want to be with you, and only you."

She felt Vi looking at her and met her gaze. Vi grabbed Geo's face and pressed her lips against hers.

The kiss was rough and desperate, full of all the frustrations and emotions that had been building up. The kiss said everything that wasn't said out loud. For a moment, they both forgot about the war, Ambessa, everything.

Geo pulled Vi closer to her as Vi backed her up on the wall, their lips never leaving each other. The kiss grew more passionate, and they pressed up against each other against the cold wall.

Geo pulled away to take off her shirt and Vi started leaving kisses on Geo's jawline.

This wasn't their first time, but it felt different.  As if it was only the two of them. No one else.

Geo found herself sitting back in a meeting room next to Vi. Caitlyn sat on the other side of her and from across from her was Jayce and a woman who had introduced herself as Mel Meredara. She was the daughter of Ambessa so Geo was a bit wary of her.

There was a small copy of the Councilors Palace on the table. There were red boats that seemed to be headed to the dock. Seemed Ambessa was ready to fight.

"I need you and the enforcers to buy as much time as you can so I can shut down the hexgates," Jayce said, his gaze on the circular structure on top of the Councilor's palace diagram. "It's our only chance."

He looked over at Mel, who placed a small circular item on the dock.

"Victor is at the center of all this, isn't he," Caitlyn asked.

Geo remembered Victor. He had seemed so kind, and willing to help. Funny how fast people change.

Jayce said nothing. "We're meant to lose this fight." he finally answered. "If he reaches the hexgates."

Geo shivered. Vi grabbed her hand.

"Good thing we have Janna among us." Caitlyn smiled weakly at Geo.

Geo didn't smile back. "Then we better stop him." Geo knocked over the circular item Mel had placed.

Geo watched as Ambessa's boats neared the shore. She was wearing light blue robes and a white metal mask, covering her eyes. She held a white staff in her hand. Her hair was pulled back so that it didn't get in the way, but the gold accents were still in her hair.

Vi came up beside her. "You look good."

Geo looked at her. "thanks."

Vi was wearing her gauntlets, now fixed and working. She wore only the breastplate of the armor.

"What's on your mind?" Vi asked her noticing something off.

Geo sighed. "Caitlyn wants me to lead them. As the goddess." She gestured to the people, both Zaunites and Pilties, getting ready to fight Ambessa's Army.

Vi watched as the people of Piltover and Zaun stood side by side, united in their need to save their city. She studied the look on Geo's face, understanding exactly the burden that was being placed on her shoulders.

"And you don't want to become the 'goddess'," Vi said, watching Geo's expression carefully.

"Do I really have a choice?" Geo asked looking at distance. She became silent.

Vi knew Geo well enough by now to understand that her question was a rhetorical one. Geo never felt like she had a choice in anything. Everything was chosen for her. And this time, it seemed the city was choosing what would be her fate again.

"They're counting on you," Vi said after a moment. "The people of both Piltover and Zaun. They need a symbol, someone to look up to."

She looked at the gathering people, then back at Geo. "But it's your choice if you want to be that symbol, that beacon of hope. No one can make you become the 'goddess' unless you allow them to."

"What if we don't survive?" Geo met her gaze.

Vi's expression softened at Geo's question, but her features remained resolute.

"Then we fight until we can't anymore," she said firmly. "We fight for our city, for our homes, and for each other. And if we die, then we die fighting for what's right."

She took a step closer to Geo, her voice dropping lower. "But we're not going to die. We're going to win this thing and come out of it alive, you hear me?"

Vi pressed a gentle kiss on her cheek and started to walk away.

"Vi."

Vi turned around.

"Promise me that you'll survive."

Vi smiled. "I promise. You promise."

Geo was about to reply but a loud horn interrupted her, Which she was glad for. She knew Vi would be able to tell if she was lying.
