Diamond Within - Vi x OC

Chapter 9

Vi and Geo traveled through canyons following some guy. Vi looked at Geo and then at the tall walls of rock that surrounded them. 

All of a sudden Vi felt someone grab her arm beat her multiple times then flip her over. Geo turned to see a blue-haired chick attacking Vi and wrapping her arm around her neck choking her.

The girl struggled to keep Vi down as she was being choked at the same time.

Vi looked up and realized the girl was Caitlyn. "On the job I see." 

Geo realizing that Vi knew this person as well sighed as she let her go. Caitlyn gasped for air before glaring at Geo. 

She had striking blue hair, a much darker blue than Jinx's hair, and piercing blue eyes. She looked tall with her long legs crouching, looking every bit the confident enforcer. 

Cait turned back to Vi. "Neither of you can be here."

Vi rolled her eyes. "Here, like where I landed when this rich, unhinged mongoose attacked me?" She pushed Caitlyn off of her body, dusting herself off. 

"Mongoose?" Caitlyn scoffed. "Well, your friend over here decided to choke me!" She whipped to face Geo. "Who are you anyway?"

"Geo." She looked her up and down. "Who are you?"

"Caitlyn Kiramman" 

Oh. So this was the ex-girlfriend. The enforcer. Geo couldn't help but feel jealousy boil over.

"Nobody cares about your long ass name." Vi sneered.

Caitlyn glared at Vi. "Your hair, you look like an angry oil slick."

"Don't sugarcoat it Cupcake." Vi scoffed as she looked at Caitlyn with the corner of her eye. 

Cupcake. Jinx had asked Vi what happened to 'Cupcake' that night in the warehouse.

Caitlyn sighed as she got up. Geo lent out her hand and pulled Vi up.

"The routes in and out of this canyon are being monitored." Caitlyn picked up a long slender gun. "No one can come in or out without being questioned." She looked over the wall of the canyon they were behind to watch guards, not too far away from them.

"Who's out there?" Geo asked.

Caitlyn stopped looking over the wall. "They've tracked some sort of new chemweapon down here." She looked between Geo and Vi. "A bloodthirsty murderous beast." 

Geo and Vi looked at each other knowing exactly who she was talking about.

The look didn't go unnoticed by Caitlyn. "What are you two even doing here?'

"Trying to save my dad," Vi answered.

Caitlyn looked between the two, warring in her mind. She then sighed and handed Vi an object from her gun. "The fissures are blocked by guards. Patrols circle the commune even intervals."

Geo was surprised. She was helping them. She looked at Vi trying to gauge her reaction about this, but it was almost like she expected Caitlyn to help them. They made out a plan. Caitlyn pointed to where all the guards would be in the camp. They agreed that Caitlyn should pretend to bring Vi in with unlocked cuffs. 

Caitlyn placed a bag in Geo's hands and nodded. She then walked to stand guard. 

Geo turned Vi. "Are sure about this?" Geo was worried. This Ambesa lady sounded like she was not to be messed with.

Vi pressed her forehead to Geo's. "Don't worry. I'll come back in one piece. promise."

Geo sighed and she stepped back. She started to pull the bag over Vi's head. She then noticed the little scar on her upper lip. Geo couldn't help herself. She gently pressed her lips against Vi's. Vi smiled against her lips as she kissed her back.
