Falling for a crazy girl
A girl was sitting on her father's lap who was trying very hard to make her eat but the child being her mother's copy was in mood to test his patience.
"Khalo Mera baby. Dekho apki favourite daal hai. Sath mein namak wala parantha. Apko pasand hai na. Khalo."
"No daddy. Meko nhi khana abhi." Pushing the hand away, she tried to leave from there.
"Kyun nhi khana meri jaan. Apke lunch ka time ho gya hai. Mumma ko pata lagega to woh mujhe datengi. Please khalo." He again put the bite in front of her little mouth.
The little girl looked at her father's tired yet smiling face. She felt his struggle. Touching his face with her small hands, she told him her problem," daddy, Noor is bored. I need enter..." Seeing her confusion, he completed her sentence ,"entertainment?" The baby girl immediately nodded her head.
"Daddy, no TV, no cartoon, no internet. Noor kya dekhe. Ese nahi khana."
That's the problem of today's generation. They can't do anything without their phone. And the baby is just three years old.
"Baby, internet to nhi hai. But I can tell you a story. Princess wali?"
Noor made an eww face. "Daddy, no princess. It's not real. Noor wants real story. Funny story. Jaise mamma sunati hai. Making funny faces, waise hi."
Well, he has seen his wife telling stories to their daughter. Her animated storytelling is one of the reasons, he fell in love with her. She forces one to believe her.
"Aap batao. Aap konsi story sunoge. Main sunata hu apko. Abhi mamma ko ane mein time hai."
Noor kept her finger on her temple and thought for some minutes.
Suddenly, she clapped. "Daddy, how did you meet mamma?"
He chuckled on her antics, just like her mother. "Apko woh story sunni hai?" Noor said "yes daddy."
"Chalo deal. Main story sunaunga, aap khana khaoge. Okay?" The father daughter shook their hands in deal and the story began...
Sidharth Mehra- 30 years old. He doesn't want to get married yet but he doesn't have a say. He has a mother who wants a daughter in law, so, it settles the matter. Shaadi to karni padegi. So, right now, he is on the way to reach his own home where his maybe bride is waiting for him with her family.
Hitting the brakes hard on the last turn, he reached his home. He descended the car before his home and went in. There was just a girl sitting with her mother. She looked beautiful when she snapped her head to look at him entering. He greeted his mother and then saw her face staring at him. She was in baby pink color suit with dupatta draped over her right shoulder.
Noor stopped her father's hand before he could put the morsel in her mouth. " Daddy, you knew it was baby pink color? Mamma to kehti hain daddy ko shades ka pata hi nhi chalta."
Sidharth chuckled. "Sahi kehti hain mamma. Mujhe to nhi pata tha. Par jitni baar bhi maine kisi ko hamari first meeting ke bare mein bataya hai to tumhari mamma ne mere pink ko uske baby pink mein correct kiya hai. Now, I remember all the colors living with her for 4 years." Noor opened her mouth and continued to chew on her parantha bite. "To kahan the hum?"
"Daddy, baby pink suit..."
"Ah.. yes. To age..."
"Sid, tu a hi gya. Meet her. She is shehnaaz. Shehnaaz Khanna. Wradhan Khanna ki beti. Iske parents a rahe hain abhi. She came directly from her dance class."
