My Favourite Unfinished

Chapter 4

October, 2018.

Months passed since she said, "You are not too bad yourself"
And it's still stuck on my mind.

Over the course of these three months, I felt myself drawn towards her, she just has that aura.
We talked, got close and it wasn't only us, Kai was there too. We were like a gang of three.

I let out a groan and dropped my head on the table.

Its so tiring. I should take a break.

I got up from my table, pulled on a hoodie and left my room for a stroll.

"I will be back!", I called out before i left my home.

I let the autumn hair hit my face and took a deep breath in and out...

For me, October was always the comfy, cozy month.
You do nothing except go to uni, hang out with friends, study and then sleep.

It's not like i actually got any "friends" except Kai and Aadhvita.

Three more months. If it's still there, I will confess.

I nodded to myself as I walked and my eyes fell on a convenience store or rather on a familiar face.

I smiled to myself and went in, "Hey!", I said waving.

Aadhvita smiled, "Oh hey!"

I chuckled, "Sup?"

"Oh just buying some snacks, eggs and milk."

"Ahh.. I see."

"Mhm.."

She paid the bill and we both walked out of the store.

"So what are you doing out here now?"

I looked at her, and damn... The streetlights were illuminating her face so flawlessly that I wanted to draw her, even though I didn't know a single thing about it.

She waved her hand infront of my face, "Earth to Ami!!"

Why the heck do I always do this!?

"Ahh yeah yeah sorry! Got lost in thoughts... I was just taking a stroll, relaxing myself."

"Acha... Gotta admit, it's really nice here in October"

"I know right! It gives all comfy and cozy vibes", I said grinning.

"Yeah true..", she said chuckling.

There was a moment of pause as we walked together, then a turn came and we stopped on our tracks.

"Uhh... So", we said in unison.

I chuckled, "yeah go on."

"Nothing. You never came to my place right? You can come now"

My heart did a backflip.
She is inviting me to her place!

"Are you sure? Like are you okay with that?"

She chuckled, "You arent some man I should be scared of and I won't be even if you were. Come on"

She said and started walking and I followed behind her laughing at her last statement.

Her home was kind of nearer to the convenience store, which means it's also not that far of a walk to Uni, that's why she usually comes walking to the Uni.

She unlocked the door and let me in.

It's a kind of place where the ambience just gives off warmth.
The walls were painted with cool colours and had some mini paiting design of butterflies near the couch area, white lights.
