Chapter 15

January 8, 2019.

I woke up to Kai squealing and bouncing, holding Aadhvita and singing 'happy birthday'.

I chuckled at the sight and Aadhvita was holding her too saying 'thank you' in a sing-song voice.

"God, you guys are too energetic", I said laughing.

Kai grabbed my arm and made me stand up, "Or maybe you are too lethargic!"

I groaned playfully as I also began bouncing with them.

"Get ready", I commanded.

They both looked at me, "We aren't staying home?", Kai spoke.

"Just get ready jeez..."

They both nodded as we began to get ready.

After I got ready, I grabbed a basket, which my mom filled with lunch and a picnic mat.

"Oh! Is it a picnic!?", Kai asked grinning.

I grinned, "Yes! Mom packed kheer too!"

Kai brought a hand to her chest, "Oh yes...", she said looking up and exhaling exaggeratedly as if she was in a bliss.

"I am ready!", Aadhvita came out wearing a off shoulder floral dress which had a slit starting from her mid thigh.

"Oohh... A slit damn!", I said looking her up and down.

"You sure stare a lot since we met, Ami", she said laughing.

Kai laughed, "Oh trust me she is down bad for you"

Aadhvita laughed and I said, "Not my fault if she is looking that stunning!"

"Okay okay...", Aadhvita's glance went to the mat and basket I was holding and she grinned, "Oh my– is it a picnic?"

I chuckled, "Yes!"

"Lead the way then!"

We headed out towards the park, and to be honest place didn't matter as long as it's with them.

It was a Tuesday so it wasn't that crowded.

I picked a spot and spread the mat and we sat.

Aadhvita groaned and stood up, "Ugh... I shouldn't have wore it!"

"Is there a problem?", I asked looking at her dress and I stood up too.

"It's a picnic and to sit down I need to fold my legs so... It's not entirely comfortable"

Kai and me shared a glance.

"Do you want me to go and bring some of my clothes?"

Aadhvita shook her head, "Uh no no... Don't go"

"But you aren't comfortable, you can't enjoy yourself like this."

"True...", Aadhvita sighed.

Kai said, "You guys wait here, my home is nearer, I can bring some of mine"

"Okay okay! But first let's take pictures, I want my pictures in this dress", Aadhvita said giving us a twirl.

"Okay...", I chuckled.

Three of us took selfies, posing and what not.
Then we exchanged positions, so that I could take a picture of Kai and Aadhvita and Kai could take a picture of me and Aadhvita.

"You are not gonna post anyway! So be as intimate as you can be!", Kai teased.

I blushed, "Kai! Seriously!"
