I'm gonna justify time travelling is real cause I'm him (don't fact check anything I say here)

Deciding to go into a career of science was fruitful for me, bringing along mounts of creativity and passion I didn't know I had. And as I continued my work, I was attracted towards the idea of time travel. It seemed inhumane, impossible, crazy in fact. It was something unreachable.

And that's why I wanted to reach it...To do the impossible. So I locked myself in a room, bland, plain, empty. I sat in the middle, no distractions, and thought. And thought, and thought.

Thinking took me years, and years, and I reached many solutions. Firstly, I thought about Einstein Rosen bridges. A wormhole is a hypothetical tunnel-like structure that connects two separate points in spacetime. If such a wormhole could be stabilized, it might allow travel between these points, potentially even across different times, not just places.

The idea is that a wormhole could connect two distinct times as well as two different locations in space. By entering one end of the wormhole, you could emerge at a different time. However, it had many downsides too, as the theory has not been proven enough for it to have been carried out.

I had been told to stop my studies, being told it was fruitless. They told me to stick to Einstein's theory of time dilation, meaning time is not absolute and can be influenced by gravity and speed. This means that if you travel near the speed of light, you age much slower than others, and henceforth, in a sense, have time travelled. But as they say,

Born too early to explore the universe, born too late to explore the world, we live in the most unfortunate times.

Trying to get anywhere near the speed of light would require amounts of energy unfathomable to human kind, and it was something we could not achieve. Not getting near a blackhole, with all it's dangers. But I had hope, and I clung onto that hope, making discoveries, igniting more passion within myself, and before long, I had finally done it. I had FINALLY DONE IT!

(Author does not know what to do after, so we're doing the generic time travelling machine button shit)

I held the device in my hand, awed by it's beauty. I had been right all along, and everyone else had doubted me. And now their doubts would be proven wrong. I held down, and awaited, encapsulated in energy as I felt my body turn off.

Off.

Just off. I saw nothing. And not like a blind man. A blind man see's darkness. I saw nothing. But next thing I knew, I had woken up, but I wasn't where I was before. I was in a different place. A different air, smell, and enviroment.

I leapt up in pure joy, smiling and whooping.

And then I got surrounded by pikes.

I hated the walk over to the palace, but the countless pointy sticks aimed at my neck was enough for me to keep moving. I scanned the surroundings, taking in the stone housing, flowing dams and the large palace I was being escorted to. It looked like I had been taken to the roman times.

I wouldn't even mind dying right now, I was just glad I had passed on a knowledge so great and astounding. I had achieved what I had wanted to for the past 14 years of my life, and it felt so good, even as I was about to be taken to certain death.

I knelt in front of the Queen, and listened as she spoke.

"Quis enim irrumabo est iste Guido?"

Oh shit they speak latin I forgot. Oh well I do know latin.

"Nescio, weirdo e caelo cecidit." The guard responded.

"Homo iustus confodere suum contristari asinum." echoed the Queen.

Oh shit she wants me dead. But being a scientist didn't make me any less fitter than how I used to be. I rolled away from a spear jab at my heart, and threw a guard to the floor as I rammed past him and towards the exit.

"Hes PINGUIS ASINUS!" I heard behind me, but I paid the gay comment no heed, and continued to run.

As I ran past the shocked gasps and stupendous stares of the roman people, I decided to take into account what I had just done.

Time travel was something which had been dreamt over for centuries, with humans seeing it only for it's benefits. As did I.

But the negatives, what could be going on back at Earth. How many paradoxes had been created? How many laws of physics had I disobeyed? It was all too much, surely something was wro-

I felt myself get dragged under the floor, as a voice whispered.

"You have messed up. Now you, your people, and the universe will face the consequences."

I felt myself get dragged back up to the floor, and I hurriedly pressed the button to warp, as a spear flew past my head.

AUTHORS NOTE :

Sorry I kept it slightly slightly realistic until the very end. I can't just do that shit. But YEAH this is fun, Kiyotaka's gonna go on fun adventures to random times in the world.
