Kiyotaka's time travelling adventures : III

I dissipated back into the time machine, bending the laws of physics again. 

I woke up, this time to a whole new place. I was getting used to it by now. I looked around me. Uhm....Empty. Just plains, hills, mountains, animals. No sign of humans ever touching the place.

I breathed in the air, and it was other wordly. So pure, so fresh, it was intoxicating, making my body relax and lighten. I knew I was still on Earth, but I had to be significantly back in time for the world to be....

This untouched, by us monsters.

I looked around until I saw in the horizon, a figure walking...I begin my track onwards, walking past hordes of sheep and grassy plains. As I kept walking, I took in the sight of the beauty around me. The Earth was so beautiful, so serene and perfect, all because we didn't touch it.

We humans, we were horrible beings. However, we only progressed because we asked...We asked why  we were here, why  we couldn't jump to the skies, why  we couldn't fly, why  we died, why  we lived. We all asked...Why? And that's why our species progressed so far. But it also came with downsides. Our upwards spiral led to the extinction of many species around the world, and the world losing a lot of it's before held beauty.

However, we were selfish. We didn't care, as long as we progressed. And so we did, and our progression knew no bounds. The ingenuity and genius of the human brain was incomprehensible. The creativity continued to soar, and it led to me making the device I now hold firmly in my hand.

During my monologue, I realised I had gotten nearer to the girl, within talking distance. She was naked down to her toes, nothing covering her body as she strolled around aimlessly. She looked as if she was searching for someone, but had been lost for some time. She moved inside a cave, and as I was about to enter, I heard someone exclaim behind me.

I turned around, to see a man. He was also butt-naked, and he stared at me with a smile.

"Hello..." I said quietly.

"I was told, being the first person on Earth, I would get a wife to procreate with and continue our race."

My eyes widened as the man approached me with longing in his eyes. OH FUCK NO!

I started to run, and the man looked confused, before angry, and he began to start chasing me back. I continued running, my mind whirling around and piecing everything together.

This had to be the times the first human was on Earth, and it sure as hell wasn't pleasant. Well my time here is over. I reached into my pocket, before realising that the machine had been dropped as I started running. 

I managed to outpace the hungry man, quickly going back to where I was before. I saw the girl re-emerge from the cave, still naked, but a whole lot more excited at the object she was holding in her hand.

"NOOOOOOOOO!" I screamed as she placed her hand on the stick to move the teleporter. 

My scream had her drop the device out of shock, ensuring the first female on Earth didn't get teleported to the future, butt-naked and stupid. 

I rushed down and picked the device back up, before placing it into my pocket. The man had kept running, but this time collided with the girl, and they both fell tumbling to the floor. The man looked at the girl and me in shock.

"Which one of you is the one for me?"

The lady looked around.

"How about all 3 of us?"

"Yeah..."

Yeah no thanks.

I pressed the button again as they reached out to grab me
