Chapter 56

Sarah POV:

Calum was calling our names in the background as I ran with Alli, weaving through the hallway's so Calum couldn't follow us. Alli was blubbering like a baby by now, she only ever cried around me. When I was done calming her down I was going to pumel Calum into the ground.

" Why did he d-d-do t-that t-t-to m-m-e!!" she cried.

" I don't know sweetheart, he's a dumb ass to cheat on an amazing girl like you." I said, still wildly looking for somewhere to hide. I spotted a room labled "Garden" and rushed into it. It was a kind of indoor garden with a bench off to the side. I pulled the almost life less Alli over to it and let her lean up against me.

" I mean... w-w-why w-would h-he feel the n-n-eed to c-c-cheat?" She asked. It took her awhile to spit it out because she was gasping for air.

" Babe, you listen to me and you listen good. You gave him everything you could. You are the most amazing girl he could ever ask for. It is NOT your fault. It is HIM! He is missing something in his fucking brain if he thinks that girl is EVER going to replace you. You loved him with a love he should have been glad to have. He doesn't know what he just let go and he's blind as hell if he thinks he's not going to regret what he just did."

I lifted her chin and wiped away her tears, he didn't deserve them if he did that to her.

" Thank you Sarah." she whispered, her sobs finally subsiding. She gave me a tight hug and I returned it. A tear sliding down my own cheek. Where was the Calum we knew... I knew?

I walked slowly back to Michaels room to get Alli's stuff with her. Her head was hanging and little sniffles would come out sometimes. I was praying we wouldn't run into Calum, but my prayers were cast down when he came running down the hallway towards us.

" Alli! I'm really-

I couldn't stand it anymore I raised my hand so fast it surprised me. It made a loud CRACK sound that echoed across the hallways, leaving a red mark across Calum's face. Calum had a surprised look on his face as he held the spot where I backhanded him and I swore I saw tears in his eyes as he stepped out of our way, backing up against the wall. Alli had lifted her head, and looked at me with wide eyes. I shook my head at her, and slowly led her away from Calum who was now on the floor, head in his hands sitting up against the wall.

Calum's POV

When Sarah had slapped me, the effects of what I had done came off. What they didn't know was WHY I had kissed Andrea. I had been doing things I shouldn't... I was high. When Sarah slapped me.. the high wore off and I saw what I had done to Alli. She looked like a family member had just died and when she looked at me with those big blue eyes... I started to cry. So now I was up against the wall of a hospital, crying my eyes out because now I knew what it felt like to have a broken heart and knowing nobody could ever fix it.

I wondered if Sarah would understand if I told her, if she would even listen. I felt like she was the only one I could ever talk to, since Michael didn't even remember who the fuck I was. That's why I started doing these things. It really messed me up when he just had a blank look when I walked in... he didn't know who his best friend was. We had been through everything together, and now it was all for nothing. That's why I was turning into this monster and I could slowly feel it taking over.

Sarah's POV

I walked Alli back to Michaels room so she could collect her stuff. I was taking her back to her house and was staying over. They had fixed her power and Becca was in the crazy house until I was about 35.

" Sarah?" Michael asked as I walked in, with a defeated look on my face. I just shook my head and ushered Alli out of the room.

" Sarah angel what's wrong!?" Michael asked worriedly.
