Chapter 54

Sarah's POV

Teaching Michael all about his life was hard work. Every picture he kept asking me who this was and who that was.. it got quite annoying. We had fallen asleep sometime with pictures strewn across the hospital bed. He had remembered almost everything from our relationship, except him singing to millions of people. I had also been tested on how well I knew my other friends as well, he asked me everything about them... but he still didn't remember.

" Good morning." he mumbled, causing me to jump.

" Oh, I didn't know you were up."

" Obviously." he laughed. Same old Michael with the sarcasm.

" No memory bursts?" I hoped.

" Nope.. sorry." I just nodded my head, trying not to show a dissapointed look on my face.

" Look, I know you want me to remember all this shit but I just can't!" he said fustrated.

" Shit!? This isn't shit Michael, it's your life! I'm going to get food. Want anything?! Good!" I said, storming out of the room. I can't beliveve he thought it was 'shit'. Maybe I pushed him to hard? I headed down to the cafetiera to get some breakfast, and to cool down.

After breakfast I headed back to the room with a plate of breakfast in hand. I felt bad for yelling at Michael, I mean it wasn't his fault, it was mine. If he had never met me he wouldn't be in this situation. When I walked in Karen was up, talking quietly to Michael.

" Hey." I smiled.

" Hi sweetheart. Michael was just telling me he remembered a lot last night." she said, a hopeful smile on her face. I felt a little bad telling her it was all about me, I sounded like a bitch.

" Yeah.. but it was kinda all from our realtionship..." I trailed off.

" Oh, well at least it's something." she said. I loved her, she was like my second mother since I spent so much time with her.

" Sorry for yelling at you earlier." I said, kissing him on the cheek and giving him the breakfast.

" It's ok, and thank you." he said, digging in.

" The kids are on their way." Karen said to me.

" Oh alright. All of them?"

" Yep."

" GRAND ENTERANCE!" Ashton shouted, busting through the door.

" Nice timing!" I laughed.

" Thank you, Thank you." he bowed. They all filed in after ash, giving me hugs and I was all smiles until Lauren walked through the door. Great. Just Great. And she was coming straight for me.

" Sarah.. can I uh talk to you?" Really? After ALL she did to me she wanted to talk? But I gave everyone chances.

" Sure." I reluctantly followed her outside the room.

" Look, I know I caused you and Michael to ya know break up and things but I want you to know I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you I just thought I was really the one for Michael but seeing you with him made me realize... I'm not anymore." she said, tears evident in her eyes.

" Oh.... It's ok!" I said, throwing my arms around her. She returned the hug.

" You'll find him someday.. I promise." She smiled at me and I led her back inside.

" Woah, what happened out there?" Calum questioned, seeing us so close and smiling at each other surprised them all.

" Well... let's call it an understanding." I said.

" Yeah, that." said Lauren, smirking at me.

" So any progress?" Alli spoke up.

" Yeah Alli, I made progress don't I always." Everybody forze, including me.

" Wait you just called her Alli......" I said, wide eyed.

" Yeah... I guess I did." Michael said, beaming.

" Do you remeber anybody else's name?" Karen asked, looking a little hurt her son remembered his friends name before hers. Before he could answer a girl around our age came in with a cart.

" Oh, I'm sorry am I disturbing something?" she asked.

" Uh no, it's fine." I smiled.

" Oh ok well I'm Andrea, I have to give Michael his medicine. My mum is killer busy so she sent me." she said, digging around in the cart.

" Oh alright." Calum was leaning up against the railing of Michaels bed and quickly pushed himself off when she went over to Michael, handing him some pills. I watched Calum intently as she constantly looked back at Calum, blushing! The worst part was, he was grinning at her and then... he winked! And she turned beet red. Alli wasn't paying much attention as she blabbed on to Makayla. A burning anger flared up inside me and it took all my strength not to fling myself across the room and smack Calum right across the face, but I contained myself until the girl left.

" Calum...out....now." I growled through gritted teeth, pulling him by the shirt.

" WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!" I shouted, as loud as I dared, not wanting the others to come out.

" What!? I only winked at her."

" Yeah! The same exact way you looked at Alli before you two were GOING OUT! REMEMBER THAT!?" I wasn't leaving him much room, he was backed against the wall and looking helpless.

" Look Sarah, I don't have any feelings for the girl, I just met her and probably won't ever see her again. It's a big hospital." that pathetic excuse almost made me want to laugh and then backhand him, I came close, but didn't.

" Yeah, you hope for your well being you don't cheat on Alli." I threatened, walking back into the room.
