Chapter 36

Michael's POV

In those two nights I barely got one wink of sleep without Sarah by my side. I tried to call her over a million times and texted her about 2 million. I couldn't wait to see my phone bill at the end of the month. I knew it was useless but I picked up my phone and called Sarah again, but this time was different... she actually answered. " Sarah!"

" Yes?"

" You answered?"

" Yes."

" Do you forgive me...??"

" No."

" Sarah please you have to believe me it's killing me!"

" No Michael. I actually answered just to tell you this is probably the last time we ever talk or see each other again. I was signed on a record deal so I'm going to be touring for the rest of my teenage life so have a great life Michael!" After that she hung up I dropped my IPhone probably breaking it. I didn't care all I could think about was never talking to Sarah again. She was ruining her life and all because of me!

Sarah's POV

Now that was over with I could finally leave this town. Mr. Fitch had called me with the details of everything. He had asked me if I wrote that song and of course I had... I told him that I had tons of others as well. He sounded really happy and told me to come to the studio in about 4 hours with my songs to show him... and I was finally getting a manager as well! I wondered if she was going to be more amazing then Matt? No need to worry I'm sure she would be. I grabbed my stuff and hurried out the door. When I finally looked at the clock in my car I realized I had two hours to kill before it was time for me to go to the studio. I was close to Alli's house so I decided to go there and say my goodbyes. I pulled up to her house and hopped out of the car with a little skip in my step. I knocked on her door and she answered.

"What!" She snaps

"I wanted to just uhm say goodbye..." I mumble mot knowing if my voice will carry on without me crying

Alli & Sarah: *go inside*

"I never thought I would hear those words and surprisingly they don't hurt me!" She laughs

"What is that supposed to mean!" I yell

"We don't even know who your are anymore Sarah! Ever since you and Michael broke up you haven't been yourself! Your ALWAYS moping around and not even talking or eating for days on end!" She yells

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?" I shout

"Don't even play! WE ALL NOTICE SARAH! YOUR BONES ARE STARTING TO SHOW!!!" She shouted at me

"No I-I-I..." My voice cracking

"Sarah! Just leave!!!!" She says

"Celine?" And she just looks away

"Makayla!?" She shakes her head and looks down

"Calum? Luke....?" don't even look at me

"Ash..." I say crying

"Sarah this hurts me more then anything in the world and I don't even know how you could do this to me... " He looks away crying I rip off her best friends forever bracelet and throw it on the ground at Alli's feet and runs out "So much for Best Friends Forever!" I mumble

(Inside)

Celine: *starts crying and hides her face in Ash's embrace*

Makayla: *tears up*

Alli: *drops to her knees holding the bracelet/ whispers* What did I do.....

Michael's POV

After my conversation with Sarah I went through all my drawers and threw everything on the floor looking for the necklace I had given her. I just wanted her to have it as a reminder that I would always love her. In the last drawer I found it right on top. I grabbed it and my car keys and ran out the door. I took the Porsche because that would be faster. Thankfully I knew how to get to the studio and what room she was going to be in. I ran through the doors and pushed the elevator button about 50 times before i ended up running up the stairs instead. I could hear Sarah singing from all the way down the hall, good they were still here! I burst through the doors and everything went quiet and all heads turned to me.

"Michael? What are you doing here?" Me fitch asks

"I have to give something to Sarah...." I say and I slowly walk over to her

"You two know each other!?"he asks

"Very well." She says through her teeth

"Even if you don't wear it I want you to have it." I say quietly and I put it in her hand and I curl her hand around it.

Sarah's POV

As soon as he pressed the metal into my hand i knew what it was. It was the necklace he had given me on our 3rd month anniversary. I bit back a whimper and held back the tears and kept my face stone cold. I brought my eyes up to meet his.

"Ill keep it but never again wear it. " I drop it in my pocket

"Ok. Goodbye Sarah." He kisses my cheek and leaves

Michael's POV

It was raining when I got out, good. No one would see Michael Clifford cry, because I was, and doing a lot of it. There wasn't a change in emotion in her eyes when I gave her the necklace back.... there was nothing and I knew from that moment on that she would never love me again.

( Everybody but Sarah)

Celine: *sitting in Ash's lap with his arms around her* I miss her already *Sobbing*

Ash: We all do....

Cal: I can't believe I didn't say goodbye to her.

Luke: Same here....

Alli: *crying* She was my best friend since year 5! I can't go on without he-r-r-r-r-r.

Michael: *sitting there staring at the ground through his tears*

Makayla: *sniffles* Michael? You ok?

Michael: *shakes his head*

Makayla: *sits beside him and rubs his back* I don't know what your going through right now because I have never loved a girl but I'm here for you.

Michael: * mumbles* Thanks.
