Chapter 76

Sarah's POV

I woke up on Michael's side of the bed the next morning, looking over and seeing the other side empty was depressing. It wasn't a good way to start the morning. I sighed and rolled out of bed, stumbling over to the closet to pick out my clothes.

I picked up the necklace Michael had given me all those years ago... and gently clasped it behind my neck. I looked in the mirror one more time before heading downstairs for breakfast.

Alli was the only one who had slept over my place, and she was already downstairs eating.

" Morning." I mumbled, grabbing the mil carton and kissing my mum.

" Morning sweetheart, do you want me to get your breakfast for you?" She asked.

" Go ahead." I waved my hand, plopping down into the seat beside Alli. I personally didn't care as of right now.

" So you doing alright?" Alli asked, munching away on her Coca Puffs.

" Yeah, just dandy." I said sarcastically as my mum gave me my breakfast.

School was a little bit better, being surrounded by the crew made me feel a thousand times better, but it was still so much different without Michael.

Michael's POV

Sound check was so boring without Sarah there to make me laugh in between songs.

" Alright Michael, last song. Pick any one... surprise us." Matt said, sipping on his coffee. I nodded and thought of a song.

" Is it alright if it's not one of mine?" I questioned.

" Knock yourself out."

" Hey put it on track 13 please." I said to the stage manager. The music began to play and I cleared my throat, getting ready to sing.

I finished the song and let go of the microphone.

" Great, now the concert is in 5 hours get ready Michael." Matt said, standing and going to do who knows what. I sighed and got off the stool, taking out my phone just as it began to ring.

I loved listening to me and Sarah's song whenever she called me. I picked it up.

" Hey angel, aren't you in school?" I asked.

" Yeah, but it's lunch and I decided to call you." she said. That explained the loud background noise. " So what are you doing?" she asked.

" Ah nothing just got sound check over with."

" Oh... I miss you." she said.

" I know, I miss you to. Has James tried anything yet?" I asked, getting a more serious tone.

" No he's still at bay. Calum's been shooting him death glares all through the day." She giggled.

" Alright be careful please..... promise?" I asked.

" Pinky swear." she said.

" Alright good." My crew gave me a hurry up sign.

" Hey baby I gotta go, I'll call you tonight."

" Alright I love you." She said.

" I love you too Sarah." I replied, hanging up and running over to my crew.

" Michael we have someone for you to meet..." Matt said, grinning.

" Uh okay..." I wasn't sure where this was going and I wasn't sure if I liked it. I watched as the mystery person stepped out from behind a curtain and smiled at me. When I realized who it was... everything came tumbling down.

" You'll be filming all day." Matt so nicely informed me.

" No, no way in hell!" I said. " Not if Sarah's not here!" I shouted.

" Oh come on Sarah doesn't ALWAYS have to be here." she rolled her eyes.

" When your here... uh YEAH she does!"
