Chapter 58

Sarah's POV

" And then I ran into the bathroom... and Alli had.." I could feel myself getting choked up, but I had to continue. With tears in my eyes, I said.

" And she had cuts.. all up and down her arm." I watched Calum slowly look up at me, with tear filled eyes and for a second I felt hate burn up inside me, but then I saw through the tear filled eyes, I saw what he really felt he was completely sorry he had done it, and it broke me down.

" Calum! She forgives you!" I cried, flinging myself into his arms, and crying into his shoulders. He wrapped his arms around me and we cried into each other.

" And she told me to tell you she loves you." I whispered. He pushed me back a little by the shoulders and looked at me.

" Really... s-s-he still l-l-oves me?"

" Yes, very much." I said, his eys suddenly had a purpose, they showed the Calum I knew was still in there somewhere. Me and Calum's 's crying fest had everybody in the hospital waiting room sniffling and wiping away stray tears. I giggled a little and wiped away my tears, because something in that moment... told me she was going to be okay, like someone was reassuring me.

The paramedics that had drove Alli in had moved us into yet another private waiting room and it had been about 4 hours, until Angie came back.

" Well what's going on?"

" She's awake, and everybody can come back." she said. We all eagerly got up, except for Calum. I hung back while all the others went.

" You coming Angel?" Michael asked, a suspicous expression on his face.

" No, I'll be there in a second." I smiled. He looked releuctent, but he followed the others.

" Calum... she'll want you there."

" No Sarah... You go ahead."

" Not without you, I know for a fact she wants you there." I said, grabbing his hand and leading him out.

Mitchell POV

Why was Sarah suddenly spending a lot of alone time with Calum? No Michael, she is totally in love with you she says it everyday. But it's been about a year now... what if she was getting tired of you? I pushed the thought away and walked into Alli's room.

" Hey guys." she smiled. Her smile reassured me and I was at ease.

" How are you?" we asked her.

" I'm alright but.. where's Calum and Sarah?" she asked. Almost as if on cue Calum and Sarah walked in. My eyes were drawn to their hands, and they were holding hands. I looked away, I would deal with Sarah in a second.

" Can you all clear out for a second?" Sarah asked.

" Sure." everybody replied, filing out the door. I slowly walked by Sarah and gave her a look.

Sarah's POV

As Michael walked out the door her gave me a "I'll talk to you later" look. What's up with him?

" Alli I-

" Calum I-

They both said it at the same time, causing them to shut up and blush.

" Ok... well Alli I told him what you told me and you both want to forgive each other, so I will be outside." I said, backing out of the room and right into Michael.

Calum's POV

" Alli... I know I hurt you and if I was you I wouldn't forgive me but I'm asking you... that if you could find it somewhere in your heart to give me one more chance...." I trailed off.

" Calum... All you had to do was ask, I forgive you." she said, and immedeatly a weight was lifted off me.

" Come here." Alli said, and the rest was history. But the thing that was bugging me as her lips graced mine was... can I even stop my addiction?

Michael's POV

" Oh Michael." Sarah said, as she bumped into me.

" Come here, we need to talk." I said, leading her away. I turned a corner and stopped.

" Why are you suddenly with Calum and Alli so much?" I accused her.

" What are you talking about!?" she said.

" You know what I mean! You stayed back with Calum and then you two were holding hands?"

" That was me fighting for something I love Michael!"

" Love?" I asked her, raising my eyebrow and feeling the anger burn inside of me.

" I LOVE Calum and Alli together because it makes both of them happy? What were you thinking!" she accused me right back.

" Well what did you want me to think? You walk in with another guy holding hands?!"

" Why would I do that with Calum? I need YOU Michael! Not anybody else." When she said that... it all made sense, the last two days came in flashes back to me and the nagging feeling that there was some reason why I was mad at Sarah I remembered.

" No.. I don't need him anymore." Was what she had said to Becca.

" Why are you looking at me like that?" she snapped.

" I remembered everything but the last two days... but now.. I remember everything."

" That's great!" she said, smiling.

" No... I remember what you last said to me... You don't need me." I said, glaring at her.

" Michael I didn't mean that it was only to keep you safe!" she said, sounding desperate. I shook her off of me and took off down the hallway.

" Michael!" she called after me. I held my hand up for her to shut up and leave me alone. What she had said hurt me, it was like a bullet to the heart. I knew she didn't mean it but even if it was just to keep me safe what if I had died and that was the last thing she said to me? And deep down what if she had meant it?

Sarah's POV

As I watched Michael walk down the hallway and back to his hospital room, I felt my heart break and dropped to my knees.

"Sarah!?" Makayla said, running over to me and holding me. " What's wrong!?"

" Michael thinks I don't need him because of what I said that night!" I cried.

" But you didn't mean it.. we all know you didn't mean it!" she said, stroking me hair.

" I know... I know! I told him that but he doesn't believe me!"

" Did you two.....break up?" she asked slowly.

" No."

" Just let him cool down, he'll come around." Makayla said, helping me up. " Hey but..."

" He remembers everything." I replied. Everybody standing in the hallway heard me say he remembered and their eyes lit up.

" Don't go to him now, he's a bit mad." Makayla said. Everybody nodded. Well I had suceeded in saving Alli and Calum's relationship but I had let mine slip.
