Just two boyfriends reunited after a long time apart in the most heartwarming way you've ever seen.

An inkfish voice resonated in the busy train station station, indicating the arrival time of the next train that was scheduled in a few minutes. More people concerned by this arrived, forsaking their own business to stand with others on the platform to patiently wait.
Ray was trying his hardest to not hop around like a young kid, but he was so excited ! It had been two weeks since Daisuke left to meet his father Haruto in the Splatlands and Ray felt like it was nothing but an eternity. They had never been so far away from each other and he counted every single day before he could see Daisuke again.
A loud siren suddenly rang and the train arrived at the station in a shrill noise. It stopped and inkfish or sea creatures came out in great numbers, meeting with their loved ones again after a long journey. Ray stepped forward and tried to peek over the many heads to find the one and only person that really interested him.
Unfortunately, it was easier to say than to do. There were so many people it was hard to distinguish a particular someone in this mess. Ray frowned, until his phone vibrated and he took it out of his pocket with a confused look to read the message he just received.
‘Look behind you baka.’
Ray's ears pricked up seeing who sent it and he quickly turned around to stare intensely at the crowd, until his blueish sea eyes locked on faded golden ones he knew too well. Daisuke waved, standing a few meters away from him, smiling. A grin immediately appeared on Ray’s lips at his sight, answering Daisuke’s one.
Ray didn’t waste anymore time to run towards him, trying his best to not shove randoms in the process. Daisuke’s arms reached out to him for a hug and when Ray finally met him, he picked him up by the waist without hesitation, so happy to see him. They laughed, noses brushing and foreheads touching, enjoying every second of this moment.
They needed a few seconds to come up for air, Daisuke’s hands tightly wrapped around Ray’s shoulders. Ray then carefully put him down, still firmly holding him close, while Daisuke cupped his neck with his palms, fingers pressing into his cheeks. They exchanged the softest of gazes, that told everything about their feelings for each other.
Not able to resist any longer, they kissed, as if they were the only ones in the world. The rest seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them together. It was a long and lingered kiss, to fill the absence of the previous days after being apart for so long.
They unfortunately pulled away for air, goofy but blissed smiles on both of their faces. Ray buried his head in Daisuke’s neck, inhaling his comforting smell, ears flopping out of contentment and Daisuke gently stroked Ray’s hair, glad to feel his warm touch again.
“I missed you Dai.”
“I missed you too Manta.”
