With my heart racing, I sit before these ruthless and imposing mafia men. Their presence radiates an aura of fear that feels almost suffocating. My partner's warnings echo in my mind, and I finally grasp the depth of his concern—his instincts have always protected me, and now I understand his fear. Yet here I am, ready to confront them, knowing this is our only chance to complete the mission and return home with enough money to build the future we dream of.

I can almost picture that perfect moment when we can finally leave behind this dangerous way of living and embrace the peaceful life we crave. I yearn for the calm and comfort of everyday life, free from worries about my engagement, our risky jobs, and the threats from cruel people. I dream of a life where it's just the two of us, wrapped up in our love—a connection so profound that no amount of time spent together could ever be enough to satisfy our endless desire for one another. The thought of sharing every moment, every laugh, and every whispered secret fills my heart to the brim. The truth is, I can never get enough of him, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

This dream makes me feel invincible and helps me maintain my composure while keeping fear at bay. It fuels my belief that if I can achieve this, I'll be able to truly relish everything Xavier has to offer for all eternity. Yet, a nagging sensation lingers—everything hinges on me at this very moment. I can almost feel the weight of my every move; each one is significant and can cause suspicion.

As I grapple with the relentless waves of fear crashing over me, I suddenly feel a gentle vibration from my earring. My heart leaps with recognition—Xavier is near! Relief floods my senses, and warmth spreads through my heart at the thought of him being so close, watching over me. I can hardly believe he's managed to get nearby so quickly. His mere presence seems to banish the lingering remnants of dread that I fight so hard to push aside.

"So, you're ready to share secrets with us? With your enemies, little bird?" Tiger chuckles mockingly, causing me to freeze in place, "How can we trust you, or trust that what you say is true?"

His smile turns dangerous, revealing the wild side hidden under his smooth facade. "Trust has to be earned, not just given," he says, his tone laced with threat. "You'll need to show us that you're valuable first, little bird."

I take a deep breath, maintaining my composure. "I can tell you who's watching you and where my boss is hiding. But I need your promise that I won't be killed once I share this information." My words are bold, a risky move that could either lead to success or cost me everything.

The Tiger's gaze sharpens, a spark of intrigue lighting up his features. "A location, you say? That's interesting. But what if I seek something more immediate? Something that guarantees I'm not just being led on like a fool?"

A shiver of anxiety runs through me at the thought of what he might demand. Despite the rising dread, I manage to keep my calm, steadily playing my part with bravado.
