I sat on the black leather couch in Michael's home, pouring out my story to him. Through it all he sat there and listened. Luke stood near us, leaning against the door frame. I felt his blue eyes burn my skin.

I after I had given my speech Michael sighed and settled down his tea cup which he gripped tighter with every word I said. It was 6:00 in the morning and I still hadn't gone to sleep. I couldn't wrap my mind around escaping my home.

I pondered what my father was doing as the moment. Was he ringing every police station in the city?

"Wow Jazmine" says Michael.

I kept this secret from the world for a long time.

"All this time you never escaped" Michael's green orbs locked on me "did your father know that we traveled to the daisy field?"

I shook my head.

Michael sighed "well let's just thank God that you are out and alive."

I smiled weakly.

"Now who did you say your father was again?" Asked Michael scratching his fluffy hair.

He had dyed it red in the past few weeks. The colour suited him.

"Phil" I say.

Luke held his breath, Michael seemed to do so too.

"Phil who?" Asked Michael

"Phil Parker."

Luke narrowed his eyes "Phil Parker?" he asked "born in Portland? Had a wife named Bridget?"

I nod "how do you know?"

Luke ignored me "did his wife die in a fire?"

"Yes" I say, furrowing my brows "But he wasn't Phil Parker back then. That was his middle name" I explained "His actual name is Steven. But now he prefers Phil."

"Steven Phil Parker?"

I nod.

Luke cursed under his breath and stormed off into the kitchen. He yelled in frustration and slammed his palms onto the kitchen bench.

Michael ran a hand through his face and his hair cursing over and over again.

"He was the one!" Yelled Luke from the kitchen, breathing heavily.

I have never seen him so distressed before.

"He was the one who killed our men, my cousin!" Cried out Luke "he stood in front of me!  And i did nothing! Nothing at all!"

"Who is my father supposed to be?" I asked

Michael yelled out in frustration "the leader" he said.

I gasped. Tears filled my eyes. That related to all the questions he asked. He was the boss of Gang Bloodhound.

"I-I'm sorry" I stutter "i didn't know"

"Its alright" says Michael "he'll probably find where we are soon."

"Pack your bags" says Luke.

I have never seen him to broken. The emotion completely drained from his face and the sparkles in his eyes faded away.

"We are going to Ashton's, he lives further in Portland."

Luke paced away to the room Michael provided for him and my carry bag, swinging it over my shoulder.

"I'll inform Calum!" Michael called to Luke.

He pulled out his phone and shot him a text.

From the moment I stepped foot into this house I thought I was safe. Well, at least I felt safe but now I learned that my father was the boss of a high qualified gang. I still didn't know what he was after since his target was gang unknown.

I now know that he was also after me since I escaped. I am officially a target.
