MINA DRUMMED HER HANDS AGAINST THE BACK OF TEAGAN'S CHAIR. She wasn't camera shy in the slightest, nor was she unaccustomed to meeting new people, so her anxiety didn't make much sense to her. She glanced at her youngest sister, who's demeanor was alarmingly calm. She was leaning back in her chair, her face scrunched to conceal a smile as she typed a teasing message to her boyfriend.

Mina couldn't stand it.

"How is it that YOU are perfectly calm waiting for this stream to start, and I'M the one pacing back and forth out of nervousness?" she asked sharply, her patience snapping. She was beginning to feel a bit like a fish out of water.

Teagan looked up at her sister, her eyes widening and narrowing as she examined her tone. Her expression was completely blank for a moment, before she burst into laughter. Mina let out an agitated groan and retreated to the far side of the room.

With a humored sigh, Teagan put her phone down and rotated to look at her sister. "I never thought I'd see the day where you, my dear, would be jealous of my social skills," she breathed, a swell of pride arising in her chest. It certainly wasn't often that she was able to say she was better at something than her sister.

A stubborn look crossed Mina's face, and for a short second, she opened her mouth to say something assumedly sassy in response. Before the words got out, she thought better of them, and settled for shooting her sister a scathing glare instead. When Teagan simply brushed her off with a small giggle, returning to her phone without a word, Mina prodded, "Do I not even get a chair while you introduce the stream?"

Teagan's lips folded into a tight frown at her sister's tone. For a small moment, she wanted to snap right back at her, or threaten to put a hold on the stream entirely. After taking a deep breath, Teagan decided against any rash decisions. "If you would just give me a moment," she began evenly, glancing sideways at her sister over her shoulder, "you would know that we aren't starting stream yet."

Never one to know when enough was enough -- particularly in the case of her sister -- Mina let out an annoyed huff, "My fault for not being a mind reader, I suppose. It's not like you could've given me any information at all about this thing you're making me do."

"No one is making you do anything," Teagan responded, her tone surprisingly level considering the slowly increasing burn of annoyance in her chest. "I can tell Neeks we made other plans." Teagan offered an alternative knowing full well that her sister had far too much pride to admit to having cold feet, especially to someone like Nico. Still, she waited patiently for a genuine response from her older sister, who still had to get some grumbling out before finally easing back her attitude.

Mina eventually heaved a quiet sigh to herself as she defiantly shook her head at her sister. "No, it's fine. I'm... I don't need an excuse to get out of it. Just... let me know what I'm supposed to do."

Teagan smiled at her older sister's resignation, a subtle pang in her chest at the realization that maybe Mina was growing out of her temperament, or at least teaching herself how to better manage it. She had always been on the argumentative side, with a temper that flared easily, could be quite volatile, and was most certainly inherited from their mother. Mina wasn't always the most agreeable person, but Teagan could see, even if they never discussed it, that she was trying. At the very least, for her.
