CURRENTLY UNDERGOING EDITING ON CHAPTER 37- 41
The list of things that Teagan Kato loved was a...
DESPITE ENDING THE STREAM, and the night, feeling as though they were on cloud nine, both of the Kato sisters saw the next day bring a few different rude awakenings. Throughout the entirety of their stream, Teagan's chat had been mostly well-behaved, with her moderators only needing to remove a handful of off the cuff comments from viewers who probably meant well. Teagan herself didn't notice very much, if any, mayhem in her chat, and neither Mikey nor Techno had texted her to make her aware of anything that she might've needed to address. All in all, she thought things went quite smoothly. And they did, for the most part.
Mina, for her part, saw a huge uptick in her followers on all of her socials almost as soon as the stream ended. Such was expected, not only because of her relation to Teagan, but also due to the fact that Kalea and Nico had been streaming as well, and they each had fanbases of their own. Though she was prepared for the influx of followers, she didn't expect the onslaught of likes and comments on her old posts that came with it. Many, of course, were quite kind and supportive, especially in regard to her photography. However, when Mina finally let herself comb through all of her notifications, she was a bit disheartened to see that there were also more than a few that were... less than kind.
As any average twenty-something year old might, Mina didn't meticulously monitor what she posted or how it came across. Social media was, to her, a photo diary where she could dump any and all pictures that wouldn't quite make her portfolio, but still deserved to be seen. That made for many post carousels and Twitter threads filled with ambient scenes, blurry drunken memories, and one of her friends making the occasional unwise decision. She focused on the media side of social media, not seeing any reason to craft an online persona that was anything but her authentic self.
Unfortunately for Mina, her new followers weren't quite accustomed to such an approach. Seeing as how being on the internet brought them their livelihoods, Kalea, Nico, and Teagan were all very specific about what they did and didn't post. For the most part, their content was entirely clean and organized, their accounts serving as more of a business than actual reflections of their lives. That unfortunately meant that for some of their younger audience members, stumbling into Mina's account led to a bit of a culture shock – and for some reason, no one could keep their thoughts to themselves.
