After jumping out of the portal and their suits retracted, Phoenix and Fighter landed in... a complete wasteland. Phoenix looked up and saw a sign, it was old and damaged, but it was one she recognized... it said "Welcome to Gravesfield".

Fighter on the other hand looked out, and saw a massive skeleton arm reaching into the sky that could be seen from thousands of miles, so while she couldn't see the rest of it from the earth's curve, she knew exactly what it was... the Titan.

"... We need to go." Phoenix said, turning into the Thunderbird and letting Fighter hop on.

Taking to the skies, the heroic Luzs searched below for the now revealed "corrupted Luz" while taking in what the landscape of Gravesfield had become.

There were buildings that were just completely destroyed, and some sort of corruption covering parts of the ground like vines made of evil. There were even bodies standing, covered in corruption... likely dead.

"Phoenix, look!" Fighter said, pointing out.

Phoenix looked and saw the Titan, half on land, half in the Atlantic ocean. They flew to the isles, needing to see if someone was alive.

"What happened here?" Fighter asked as Phoenix let her off and transformed back into a human.

"I don't know but if this is what happened to her world, I would hate to imagine what she went through before all of this." Phoenix said as they began looking around.

They came across something that made their hearts sink... a statue, a fairly damaged statue, but a statue nonetheless.

Edalyn "The Owl Lady" Lady, Petrified for her crimes.

The two wanted to throw up, they didn't for one second want to think about a world where Eda was petrified.

"I understand so much now." Phoenix said, "Her Eda was petrified, who knows who else she lost, and then the worlds were merged and probably killed so many lives in the process."

"I sometimes think about what might happen if I was too late." Fighter said, looking at her hands and gloves. "Would I have become like her?"

"I don't know...but I don't want to find out if I was in that scenario." Phoenix said, putting a hand on her chest. "Seems like getting impaled by a spike and awakening the phoenix was a good thing."

The two kept going and they figured that checking the emperor's castle might be a good place to check for her/someone that might be alive.

'Hopefully, Athena isn't working with Belos if he is still alive somehow.' Both of them thought as they arrived at the castle bridge.

Or what was left of it.

"Things falling apart." Phoenix said, staring to float, "Need a lift?"

"No, I'm good." Fighter Luz said before using her gloves fire glyphs to hover above the ground. "Been a while since I used these, don't want to get rusty."

The two flew over the bridge and towards the castle. They landed in front of the door and Phoenix punched it down.

"This is creepy." Fighter said, looking in the rundown castle.

"Think about how I feel, I live here." Phoenix said.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot you're the queen of the demon realm in your world. Still can't believe that." Fighter Luz said.

"Uh, Emperor, as much as I hate that word." Phoenix said with a groan, "Come on, if this is like my world there's a secret room that can be accessed behind the throne."
