In a dark apartment, your alarm rung, signalling another day had come. You immediately swiped up, snoozing the alarm to catch some sleep.
The alarm rung again. You snoozed it again.
It rung— SLAM!
You grit your teeth, annoyed at the sound of an alarm in your room. The alarm continued to ring, looking to the side, you noticed you had only slammed the small drawer next to you. You let out a sigh, thankful that your temporary blinded rage didn't destroy your phone. You finally dismissed the alarm and sat up from the bed, looking at the wall infront of you with a blank expression.
You looked at the time. 6:45am. You didn't sleep much. You ruffled your hair in frustration as you looked back at the blank wall, pondering on what you should do for the day.
One thing for sure, you're definitely skipling school. You can't stand another day of your ruined sleep schedule.
The only problem is how you're going to execute it. So much things had been going on, you had forgotten that you are a model student. So was Teruki, but thanks to his downfall his grades and reputation dropped down slightly. Though, you're sure he'd pick it back up somehow.
You groaned, a headache coming in as you pinched the bridge of your nose. The lack of sleep is catching up to you.
Whatever. You're gonna take your chance and continue your slumber.
And so, you plopped down on your bed and continued to sleep.
———Ding-dong..
..?
Ding-dong..
...ugh.
Dingdongdingdongding——
You slammed the table next to you, awaken yet again from your slumber. Still adorned in your sleep clothes, you trudge towards the door to be greeted with a boy with an overwhelmingly long hair, adorned in formal school uniform as he smiled at you, an expression that is too bright for you to handle.
"Oh, I thought you were going to ignore me for sure." The boy in front of you chuckled before taking in your form, "Wow..you look.." he grimaced.
"Good? I know. Moving on, I'm not going to school today." Your head ducked down as you ruffled your hair in frustration, your hand gripping on the door handle.
As you were about to slam the door shut, his gripped the door, using his body force to stop the impact. "Whoawhoawhoa— hold up, what's up with you today?"
You gave him an annoyed glare, before sighing and looking at him, face to face. You took a note of his concerned expression, your annoyance faltering slightly as your grip on the door handle softened, looking at the boy with slightly widened eyes as you reevaluated your actions.
"Right. Sorry about that." Your head ducked down as you ruffled your hair, "Look..um. I can't go today. I'm..sorta tired and stuff."
"Huh..well I can certainly see that."
You scoffed, "Yeah, yeah, whatever..I'm not feeling well. Make up some excuse for it, please? I'm seriously so damn tired."
He scratched his cheek as he looked to the side, in deep thought before looking at you back with a smile, "You know what? Sure. You've been needing a break, anyways."
He chuckled slightly, "And even if you go to school now, you'd look like a zombie. I'll be sure to hand you the school work after school, okay?"
Your eyes widened, you didn't expect him to make such compromisation. Your cheeks flushed slightly, feeling a bit warm due to his kindness. You couldn't help but let out a smile, tilting your head to the side.
