31st August 1982

Estrella pov

"Yes?" I ask after hearing a knock on the door. The door opens to reveal Bowen who is standing tall and stiff as always.

"Forgive the intrusion Lady Estrella but your mother and father have asked for your presence in your fathers study," he says which almost makes me snort. Asking for my presence, what a nice way of putting it. I close my diary and hide it under my stack of pillows then I follow Bowen through the halls of my house until we reach my father's study. Bowen knocks on the door and opens it after getting permission.

"Estrella dear sit," father says pointing across his desk to a chair. While father is sitting behind his desk mother is behind him looking out of one of the windows.

"Mother, father," I greet politely.

"Estrella, you know that it's August, that means new staff," father says and I nod my head slowly in a confused manner, of course I know that.

"Well this year we have a little surprise. Seeing as you're old enough and have completed Hogwarts we think it's time you get your own ladies maids," mother says which immediately makes me interested in this conversation.

"How many?" I ask.

"We have decided that five should be perfect and we have already picked them and they have signed their contracts," mother says.

"Great, can't wait to meet them," I say just then a knock is heard through the door.

"Well isn't this perfect timing it seems like they're here," father says.

"Enter," mother says. The door is opened and to my shock Ava, Lisa, Grace, Jacqueline and Riley step into the room. They do not look happy.

"Erm I'm confused," I say.

"These girls have just completed their studies for a job, unfortunately their job requires them to do work for the people they hate the most to make sure that in a serious situation they treat the victim with care and respect," mother explains.

"You two did this on purpose didn't you, because of what happened at school," I accuse them and they don't look sorry in any way. Now I understand why the wanted the names of the Gryffindor's who constantly gave me trouble at Hogwarts.

"What kind of parent, what kind of Black family member would I be if I didn't exact my revenge. After all everyone should learn to never mess with a Black," father says. I look at the five Gryffindor girls then back to my parents.

"That'll be all Estrella," father dismisses me obviously sensing I'm about to question him, which he hates.

"Father," I try.

"I said that'll be all Estrella. Go, and take those things with you, have Lousie give them an official lesson," father says and I nod in defeat before getting up and leave the room.

"Oh one more thing Estrella," mother says, making me stop and turn around.

"If you have an ounce of love or respect for this family, you keep your mouth shut," she says and I nod in understanding. I head for my room with the five Gryffindor's in tow.

"Those are your parents?" Grace asks uncertainly.

"Yup, charming aren't they," I say and enter my room.
