September 9th

I'd finally finished unpacking my bedroom in Niall's flat. I wiped my sweaty hands on the back of my jeans and stood back to admire my handywork. My bed was placed in front of the window with the drapes placed nicely on the side of the bed, so that they were open. My bed had been nicely made with the sheets tucked in. My books were placed on my desk's shelves with my laptop and other electronics sitting on top. The cords to everything had been folded up and put in a clear bin and had been labeled. My clothes were separated in the dresser from pants, shirts, and socks, bras and panties. Okay, sue me. My room was neater than it should be. So what if I liked my room to be organized?

I chewed on my lip for a few moments before deciding to head out into the living room where Niall had been for the past few hours. For the past two days, Niall was busy with his band, doing some interviews and such, so after we got all of my stuff inside his apartment (the furniture, Niall put into a paid storage locker), I had begun to unpack myself. I hadn’t seen Niall a lot since I was cooped up inside my room and he was busy anyways.

Walking into the living room, I didn’t see Niall anywhere. I checked the kitchen, poking my head inside the room to see if  he was in there. If he wasn’t in the living room, he was in the kitchen making food. He wasn’t in there, so I decided to quickly check his room. If he wasn’t in there, then he was in the bathroom, but there’s no where in hell I’m checking that room. No, sir I am not. My feet padded against the carpeted hallway as I strained my ears to hear any signs of Niall. After poking my head in his quite messy bedroom, I let out a quiet sigh. He wasn’t in their either. Ignoring the bathroom, I headed back into my room to check my messages on my phone. I hadn’t bothered to check them. Maybe Niall sent me a message.

After going through my phone, I realized I was right. Niall did send me a message.

[Niall; hey allie(: so i know your busy with your room.. thats why i didnt bother you, but i left to go grocery shopping. i’ll be back around four okay? see you then, allie-boo xx(: ]

Almost immediately, I felt a blush rise to my cheeks. Whenever I’d get texts from Niall, I’d blush like mad while the butterflies in my stomach were going crazy. I wasn’t used to feeling things like this. For example, the heart pounding, the butterflies, and the feeling I’d always get around him, like I was light on my toes. It was exhilerating, and I loved it. I just wasn’t used to feeling it.

It honestly scared me sometimes.

I shook my head, and quickly texted him back.

[Me; Just got your message, Nialler. Lol, I’ll be waiting for you(: xx]

After grabbing a premade sandwich from the kitchen, I sat down on the couch and crossed my legs indian style. I turned the TV on, deciding that maybe that would get rid of the bordism. I went through the channels one by one, seeing if each one had something interesting. It was all a bunch of bologne though. Nothing seemed to have catched my interest.

I threw my head back, growling.

I wish Niall would text me back.

I took a large bite of my sandwich just as my phone vibrated. Hurriedly, I threw my sandwich down and checked my phone, hoping it would be Niall, as my heart pounded inside my chest. When I saw the I.D., I couldn't help but grin inwardly. It was Niall, just like I had hoped.

[Niall; i'll be home in like two minutes. i just have to stop somewhere on the way ok?]

I sent him a quick text saying "Okay" and turned back to the TV. I watched as a bunny started jumping across a feild, only to have someone shoot it. Blood seeped out of the white fur as I clasped a hand to my mouth, crying out in disbelief. A man dressed in camo came onto the screen with a big smile on his face.

"I done shoot that rabbit right here," he held up the rabbit as if it were a prize.

Enraged, I threw my fist in the air and started yelling at him. "NO! That is sickening you heartless bastard! I will take you to jail and sue you for unfairness of animals, you buttface! You don't kill a fucking rabbit and treat it as if it were a prize. That is wrong you heartless monster!"

A few tears slipped down my cheeks as I watched the hunter pick up the bunny by the ears. My heart ached to see the bunny like this. It hurt so much.

"Allie, are you okay?" I heard the unmistakable strong Irish accent behind me.

As quickly as I could, I wiped away the tears and turned to Niall with a sheepish smile. He raised an eyebrow as he said, "Were you just crying?"

I nodded my head sheepishly and looked down at my hands. I heard Niall drop his belongings as his footsteps became lighter and closer. I felt one of Niall's cold hands touch my chin, forcing it up. I had no choice but to look Niall in his crystal blue eyes. I breathed in sharply  as I stared at the man before me. He was gorgeous. His blonde hair had his brown roots peaking through. It was discheveled and in that sexy manner like it usually had been. He looked at me softly with a small smile playing at his lips.

"If you were crying about that bunny," Niall said to me quietly, "it's okay, Allie. It is sad that they do that to them so heartlessly."

Niall stroked my cheek with his thumb while his forefinger was pressed against the back of my ear gently. All I wanted to do in that  one moment was press my lips against his soft, perfect, Irish-lookingl lips. God, did he have to look so perfect while I looked like someone had just sat on me? I mean, really, sometimes it was just unfair to everyone, especially me. Stop being unfairly gorgeous, Niall.

Niall pulled his hand away from my cheek and turned around. For a minute, I wondered what he was doing until he pulled out a bouquet of flowers from an unknown bag I hadn't seen him carry in. My mouth dropped as he got down on one knee with a cheeky smile.

"Alletta Rose Blackwill, will you go on a date with me tomorrow night?" Niall asked me.

For a minute, I was completely shocked. Was Niall actually asking me on a date for tomorrow night? Was Niall and I actually going to go on a date? I'd opened my mouth to say something, but Niall had beat it to me.

"Here," He pulled out a small, silver, blue studded ring from a small white box. "I'm promising to you that through whatever happens between us we will still be friends, whether we continue dating and break up, or nothing between works out in the first place. I promse that if things end between us, it will go back to the way it was."

He grabbed my hand and slipped the ring on my ring finger. I smiled down at him.The only thing I could do was nod, saying yes that I will go on a date with him. He laughed as he pulled me into a hug, sending my heart into a flutter of butterflies.

I don't know if it was just me, but I really liked the way things were going between Niall and I.
