Sohee was nervously sitting in the passenger seat, leg bouncing up and down. Her eyes fixated on the small convenience store her sister had parked in front of. Hyunjoo placed her hand over Sohee's, causing the younger girl to jerk her head in her sister's direction. A smile formed on the older girl's lips as she rubbed her thumb against her sister's hand in a comforting manner.

"You're gonna do great, Sonnie," Hyunjoo hummed reassuringly. "Just remember what we practice, and pretend that the interviewer is me."

Sohee nodded her head slowly in response, dryly swallowing down the lump in her throat, as well as her nerves.

"Right, I can do this," she muttered to herself, starting to feel at ease due to her sister's loving touch.

The older girl's lips pulled into a smile as she nodded her head in agreement. "That's right, you can do it. I'll be right here waiting for you."

Her sister looked at her with hopeful eyes, fear still lingering in them, before she smiled at Hyunjoo. With a few more encouragement, Sohee finally left the car, turning to her sister and thanking her again. Hyunjoo waved the younger girl off, smiling happily as she wished her good luck. After Sohee closed the door, the older girl watched as her sister made her way inside the store. She couldn't help the smile that lingered on her face, feeling proud of the younger girl in more ways than one.

Hyunjoo was tired of the constant studying she has been doing as of late, making her feel less willing to put in any effort now. Two hours have passed since she initially started, yet nothing seemed to be sticking in her memory.

A breath of relief fell from her lips when she heard the dryer finish its last cycle, giving her an excuse to take a short break. She pushed herself away from the desk, before getting up from her seat and heading to the laundry room.

When she returned to her room, she was surprised to find her sister sitting on the edge of her bed, her eyes fixated on the device in her hand. Sohee's attention shifted towards the older girl, who walked in with the laundry basket in her hands.

"Did you need something?" Hyunjoo asked as she walked towards her bed, placing the basket on top of the plush surface.

The younger girl shook her head in response, her eyes flickering from the desk piled with papers and back to her sister. "I just wanted to help you fold clothes, especially since you're busy studying for that exam."

A smile immediately pulled at Hyunjoo's lips, turning away to dump the clothes onto her bed. "Honestly, I need a break from studying, but I wouldn't mind a little company."

Sohee smiled at her sister's words, before the older girl playfully nudged her shoulder with her own. The task started off quiet, both sisters focusing on completing it together. But eventually, they got distracted, talking to one another almost effortlessly. Their quiet laughter carried itself subtly around the house, where their other family members were already sound asleep.

Hyunjoo listened fondly to her sister as she spilled tea regarding some people her friend group was associated with. She wanted to cherish this moment, especially since she was well aware of the amount of time she missed with the younger girl. Her lips remained upright, unable to stop it from growing as they continued to converse.

Although folding clothes should've taken a few minutes to complete, they ended up finishing an hour and thirty minutes later. Hyunjoo didn't mind though, especially since she much preferred spending time with her sister than forcing herself to study. It was a much needed break, and her mind felt refreshed. However, she still wasn't in the mood to study. So instead, she convinced her sister that they should go on a late night drive, hoping that'll clear her mind of the stress she was feeling.
