Time felt like it suddenly slowed down when those words left Sohee's lips. Hyunjoo swore that she must've heard her sister wrong. All her senses dulled as she tried to make sense of what was said, causing her ears to ring at the sudden deafening silence. However, the world didn't give her time to process the situation before it brutally dragged her back. She felt her heart crash into the ground that very second, words suddenly getting caught up in her throat.

"W-What?" she managed to stammer out, but that singular word didn't equate to the amount of things running through her head at that very second.

"I called the ambulance and they're currently taking him to the hospital. Can you go there? Dohyun is sleeping right now and I don't want to wake him. I'm so sorry, Joonie, I know this was supposed to be your night out. I- I- Should I go instead? But who will watch over Dohyun? Do I just wake him up and take him?"

Just like her sister's mind, Sohee's thoughts had scrambled themselves in a panic. She wasn't even sure she was making sense to Hyunjoo at this point.

"It's okay, I'll go there immediately- just watch over Dohyun, okay?" Hyunjoo instructed as she hurried to her feet.

After figuring out what hospital her dad was heading to, she quickly gathered her belongings. Even though Jeongin wasn't sure what caused the girl to become disoriented, he could tell that it was completely invading her mind. He watched her fumble and curse herself when she couldn't think straight, prompting him to help her.

"Are you leaving?" he asked, eyes trained on her distress expression.

"Yeah, sorry. I need to go- where are my keys?" she asked as she started to rummage through her bag.

"Where are you going? I'll drive you."

"No, it's fine. I can drive-."

"Hyunnie," Jeongin said, placing his hands on her shoulder.

Suddenly hearing her nickname coming from him caused her to snap out of it for a little. Her teary eyes shot up from her bag to meet his worried ones. Jeongin stared at his girlfriend before he held his hand towards her, motioning to her bag.

"Come on, I'll drive, just tell me where I need to take you. You look like you're barely able to think straight right now. I rather you get to your destination safely when you're this disoriented," he reasoned, knowing she was only declining his offer due to her foggy mind.

Hyunjoo didn't need much convincing after that and nodded her head in response. Jeongin quickly gathered his belongings before the two of them departed from the practice room. He was patient with his girlfriend as she struggled to tell him what was going on. The boy also helped her when she tried to pull up the address to the hospital her dad was going to.

The second Jeongin parked the car, Hyunjoo was flying out of her seat. She quickly made her way towards the doors leading into the hospital, half running and half jogging. Hyunjoo just hoped that nothing bad had happened to her dad. Jeongin quickly followed after the hasty girl as she made her way to the front desk.

"Oh Minjoon, my dad. He was brought here, where is he now?" Hyunjoo spoke in a panic.

The person at the front gave them the information they needed, before they quickly made their way to the elevator. Hyunjoo was beginning to pace in her spot as she waited. Her anxiety was towering over her at this point, mercilessly taking hold of her. She would suddenly stop in her spot when Jeongin took hold of her hand.

"Hey, hey, take a few deep breaths, okay? I know you're scared right now, but you need to clear your mind to be able to talk properly," Jeongin instructed.
