Seungmin had become Jeongin's human alarm during their stay at Fukuoka, Japan. Like clockwork, the older boy would finish his morning routine before waking his friend up. Jeongin, like many other times, would try to push his friend off of him. However, Seungmin would always reign victorious in the end.
The groggy boy slowly sat up in his bed, eyes continuing to remain shut. Jeongin slowly brought his hand to the side of his head before lightly ruffling his hair. Too exhausted to do much, he remained in his position, trying to get more shuteye. It was only when Seungmin urged him to do his morning routine did Jeongin finally force himself awake.
His eyelids slowly fluttered open, begrudgingly welcoming the early sun seeping through the cracks of the curtain. He let his eyes adjust to the light before he slowly pried himself off of the bed, leaving its coziness behind. After slipping on his slippers, he dragged himself to the bathroom. Seungmin watched in slight amusement as his eyes followed the zombie-like Jeongin.
After freshening up, the younger boy felt a bit more awake. His body slightly ached from the concert yesterday, and his throat felt somewhat dried. He made his way out of the bathroom and immediately went to get something to drink. Jeongin grabbed the water bottle on the small round table and took sips from it, hoping to replenish his dehydrated throat.
As he continued to drink, his eyes fell on Seungmin lounging on his bed, eyes glued to his phone. Their attention would be drawn towards the door when a knock echoed through the quiet room. The younger boy capped the water bottle in his hand and made his way over. He peered through the peephole before opening the door, revealing their leader. Chan smiled at the obviously tired boy before looking over Jeongin's shoulder, where Seungmin began to approach the two.
"Great, the two of you are awake," he said in a sing-song manner, surprisingly showing no visible signs of exhaustion. "Get ready, we're going to go out and have breakfast in a few."
"Why~?" Seungmin jokingly whined. "We just finished our concert here at Fukuoka, can't we just stay at the hotel and relax?"
Chan gave the boy a tight-lipped smile while tilting his head slightly to the side, nonverbally warning him. Seungmin scrunched his nose in response before turning away, going to prepare an outfit for the day. The older boy's attention shifted back to Jeongin before giving him an understanding smile, knowing how tired his friend must be.
"Meet us in the lobby when you're both done changing, okay?" Chan instructed, receiving a tiny nod in response. "I'm going to go tell the others, and, possibly, wake them up as well."
With that, his leader made his way to the other hotel room. Jeongin closed the door and turned to make his way to his belongings, a yawn escaping him. He settled down on the carpet flooring before unzipping his suitcase. The younger boy began his search for something to wear, matching certain articles of clothing to see which one fit better.
"How do I look?"
Jeongin's attention shifted towards his friend upon hearing the question. The second he saw Seungmin's absurd outfit, he bursted out laughing. The older boy tried to stifle his laughter, trying to appear serious, but couldn't help but join his friend.
"Wait, wait," Jeongin said as he struggled to get off the floor.
He quickly went to retrieve his phone and began taking photos. Seungmin posed for the pictures, causing his friend's laughter to only ramp up. Once Jeongin was done capturing the outfit, the older boy made his way over to the younger boy, who was obviously planning to send it to the group chat. Laughter continued to spill from their lips as Jeongin tried to type.
