PERO, HOW THE HELL DID YOU MESS UP THIS BADLY??

The yellow-eyed billy would've hissed through his teeth if he still had human lips- instead, his jaws released a frustrated bleat that his Message spell couldn't supply.

Why is this my fault, the golden fledgling twittered anxiously, and how? I didn't know our endeavor was gonna end like this!

The little slime visibly deflated. Could you guys please, shut up? I am still linked to the "Call."

The two turned their heads to her, one miffed and the other anxious. They were all tired, having fled for what felt like miles to escape their own angry mobs. This whole day, for them, was a catastrophic mess.

While it felt like they met here completely by chance, the little billy goat couldn't help but think otherwise. After all, hadn't they all worked together to avenge Bellriver's death?

Just a day before, they had died; now Bukubukuchagama, Peroroncino, and Ulbert Alain Odle were all in the bodies of... Of.

Well, the closest comparison would be "children."

Bukubukuchagama was the closest to a child that a slime could get; a newly-split slime, pink and almost glowing like molten lava. She has a heavyweight, as how she'd built her original avatar.

Peroroncino was a ball of feathers that bordered on gold. His claws were well-defined coal black nails, sharp to the touch. His wings were all but downy feathers, but they had a strength that wouldn't be attached to a child.

In any other situation, Ulbert Alain Odle would argue that he got it the worst; he wasn't unfamiliar with the concept of the Anti Christ, but being born as a monstrosity from a perfectly normal goat-mom was something Ulbert couldn't help but believe was some sort of divine punishment.

Nonetheless, they'd all been hunted for their appearances; even worse so for their unnaturally capabilities. Bukubukuchagama fled faster than her "parent" could reabsorb her. Peroroncino was the equivalent of an infant, yet he was able to flee with an speed unmatched to the heteromorph village that immediately rejected him for being unnatural. Ulbert had been chased by a mob of farmers, causing chaos in his wake. All of them fled to the same forest, some not stopping until sun down. Where they found each other.

Needless to say, they needed to stick together. This world was clearly out to get them, and unless they desired a swift end, they had to get stronger together.

They just had to get used to their new parts, first...

In short, three of Momonga's friends end up together in New World. Just... Not as their avatars.

Merry Christmas, guys!
