A whole week passes, by the time his second date with Chan rolls around, and Seungmin was sure someone was about to catch him gnawing at the walls.

His mother, now well aware that Seungmin was falling hard, had become particularly teasing in her efforts to drive out all Seungmin's "juicy" Chan information. Any little text message had her looking curiously his way and any smile that Seungmin couldn't wipe off his face had her prompting for answers. She'd figured out that the hoodie he now wore like a second skin was Chan's, and she'd give him that knowing glance only a mother could anytime she caught him wearing it. She'd also discovered the cluster of hearts in his maths book by accident after Seungmin had asked her for help, and she was quick to deduct to whom he'd been mindlessly doodling them for.

Thankfully his dad was a lot more laid back, it didn't stop him though from also pointing out the fact that "At least neither of you can get pregnant." Seungmin was mentally taking back his thoughts of introducing Chan to his parents purely because he was certain they were going to embarrass him one way or another. Seungmin had no idea how he'd look Chan in the eye if his parents pointed out the fact they could have sex without any pitter-pattering side effects.

When they'd uncovered that he was going on a second date, Seungmin decided he needed to take precautions, put some necessary space between himself and his parents who had been pestering him day in and day out over Chan.

They were paparazzi, and Seungmin was determined not to give them any more food for thought.

So, this time as Chan pulls into the driveway to pick him up, because the older insisted on doing so to make up for last time, Seungmin is yelling his goodbyes to his parents and is out the door before Chan could switch off the ignition. As he flies into the passenger door, he promptly kisses the boy on the cheek and tells him to "Drive!" before his parents even had a chance to get to the front window nook, let alone the front door to be the nosy and the embarrassing individuals they'd suddenly become.

Once in the safety of the car and out of the driveway Seungmin half sighs and half whines.

"Well hello to you too," Chan eyes cautiously. "You ok?"

Seungmin drowns himself into the passenger seat. While his parents were out of sight, he still felt like they were watching him. God only knows what comments they make if they could see Chan's leather jacket, side-braided hair and ripped skinny jeans. Perhaps his mother, one fond of simple and reserved fashion might say "As long as he makes you happy!" Or maybe his father, a man more likely to choose expensive chinos over sweatpants would state "Just make sure you're safe!"

Seungmin shivers. The thought of having sex with Chan was growing less and less intimidating by the day, but knowing his parents were thinking about him and Chan together made his skin crawl.

"My parents are insufferable," Seungmin eventually groans.

"Aren't all parents?" Chan chuckles lightly, two hands on the wheel.

Seungmin sits up, gripping the seatbelt over his chest with both hands. "Not like this! Usually my parents are cool, they're laid back and don't care too much about my personal life, but Mum caught sight of you dropping me home the other night and suddenly she's hooked, she even has dad roped in too. It's like you're a celebrity and I'm their all-access ticket"

Chan sits up in his seat, a chuffed expression spreading over his face, but Seungmin narrows his eyes. "Don't act too excited. I feel like I should prepare you for the fact they're gonna ask if we're using protection the first time you meet them. Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if they supplied it themselves and told us to have fun or whatever. Why do you think I got in your car so quickly?!"
