"So, you're here with Chan?" Younghyun notes rhetorically. "He said he was picking up a friend, but I never would have expected that friend to be his date"

Seungmin pokes at his glass, suddenly feeling a wave of nerves settle over him. "Yeah, we haven't really put a label on things. Our- uh, relationship is all very new"

Younghyun takes this in, "Sorry I couldn't meet you upstairs earlier, Daniel and Subin invited me down for pre-show shots, and somebody had to look after those two"

Seungmin laughs, he'd known them for barely an hour and he could already see why they needed someone to watch over them. They were the definition of Wild.

"So, how do you know Chan again?" Seungmin asks, trying to make conversation, while he knew the boy's name and that he went to college with Chan, he didn't know much else. He also didn't want to be weird and sit here in the silence of his own nerves like he had with Seungkwan.

"Mainly college," Younghyun smiles. "But we actually met back in senior year of high school. Chan's team was playing against mine, and as vice captains we were introduced and played against each other. It wasn't until college orientation though, that we recognised each other and we got to know one another properly. Next thing you know we became best friends, and the rest is history."

Seungmin hums. As Younghyun spoke he realised he actually didn't know much about Chan's friends other than what he'd learnt tonight and it suddenly hit him just how important his time here at the bar was. All these people he'd met, they all knew Chan, they'd expressed as much as well. They were friends from his college and his course. Seungmin knew at that moment he wanted to leave them with good impressions, because he was sure they'd probably all have something to say to Chan when he wasn't there. Especially Younghyun since he was apparently Chan's best friend.

Seungmin takes a swig of his drink, a pretty green drink called Midori, according to Younghyun. It suddenly occurred to him that he had lost count of all the drinks he'd had, but more pressingly that he hadn't even paid for any of them. Seungkwan had shouted the first drink and Daniel his second, and Subin had insisted on doing shots, not that Seungmin wasn't complaining since it took the edge off his nerves. After that, he'd lost count, and had settled for just trying to match everyones speed.

"So, is there anything I should know about Chan?" Seungmin pokes. "Any skeletons in his closet?"

Younghyun chuckles. "Not much to know. Chan, for the most, is a pretty open book once he feels comfortable with you."

"There has to be something?" Seungmin pushes, finally finding his courage to banter.

Younghyun pauses in thought. "Well, I guess, although he acts aloof, he's actually quite studious. When he really sets his mind on his work, he's like a powerhouse, he wasn't always though- uhh what else -he sometimes takes his guitar to the senior centre or the dog shelter and sings for them, says it's good practice- although I don't know whether dogs and old people really appreciate the sentimentality. OH! -" Younghyun jumps, startling Seungmin, "He keeps this bear thing besides his bed-ahh what was its name-"

"Mr Bear?" Seungmin cuts in with a chuckle.

"Yeah, Mr Bear! Wait, how do you know Mr Bear?"

Seungmin looks to the side momentarily. "We've actually met"

"You have?" Younghyun asks with a sharp inhale, his eyes were wide and his expression shocked, like meeting his bear was a big deal. "That same dumb little brown bear with the red ribbon that's in his room?"

"Uh Yeah?" Seungmin chuckles cautiously. What was he missing here?

Younghyun sits back, has a drink, and then leans forwards again with an accusatory finger.
