With his worries eased and his boyfriend-touch quota filled from Friday night and Saturday morning, Seungmin was confidently able to focus back on his studies for the rest of the weekend.

At the end of the day, getting good grades would help him get into Chan's college and allow him to stay by the older's side, and more presently, successfully getting through this coming week meant being another step closer to his and Chan's hot spring date.

Between the quiet moments of studying and right before bed Seungmin relished in the thought of their holiday, seeing Chan without his shirt on; bathed and dripping wet. It was a simple pleasure to help him get through the day and sleep through the night.

Before Seungmin knows it, Monday is upon him, as is his history exam.

Seungmin sits it confidently, answering each question with every ounce of knowledge he could muster. It's only after the exam, as he steps out into the hallway, that his confidence wavers.

Jeongin was leaning on the wall, just outside.

As their eyes meet, Jeongin takes a step closer. "Hey S"

Seungmin bobs his head in greeting. "Hey J, what's up?"

Jeongin stares, unblinking for a moment. He then drops his gaze down to his neck, and then back up to meet his eyes. "Chan's finally spoken to you, hasn't he?"

Seungmin shrinks, knowing the hickey Chan gave him was on full display. He covers it briefly, before dropping his hand back down at his side, there was no use in hiding it. "H-he did. Took him long enough, but he did"

Jeongin heaves out a sigh of relief. "Oh, thank God because if he wasn't going to say anything to you then I was. You had it easy with me but my brother is as stubborn as they come"

This makes Seungmin laugh, "I'm learning that"

"Are you ok to walk and talk?" Jeongin asks calmly.

Seungmin nods. "Sure." He'd anticipated Jeongin would confront him eventually, he was sure the younger probably had questions.

"So, you like my brother, hey?" Jeongin chuffs, matching Seungmin's pace.

Seungmin laughs to cover his nerves. "Y-yeah"

"Why?" Jeongin asks point blank. "Don't get me wrong, I'm chill with you guys being together, I just never expected you of all people to like him"

Seungmin holds his notebook and pencil case to his chest. "It kinda just happened...?"

"Well obviously. But how did it happen? You took me home after Jinnie- Hyunjin's, and was in his bed not long after, and yes, I've figured that much out. My brother is not one to just let people into his space like that, and I know you, although you can work your way around the block, you're not one to do that sort of thing. You'd choose to crash in your car over even a friend's bedroom, any day. So, what was different with my brother?"

Seungmin shrugs and looks at the ground as they walk. Not sure if he wanted to confess the truth about his feelings. "I don't know, I was tired and he was nice enough to offer-"

Jeongin snorts, cutting off Seungmin's words. "S there's more to it than that, we dated remember, don't think I haven't forgotten your tells. What's the real reason you stayed?"

Seungmin stops in his tracks, causing Jeongin to halt and spin on his heels to face him.

"Because I wanted to," Seungmin confesses quietly.

Jeongin smirks. "There you go"

Seungmin tilts his head curiously, not understanding Jeongin's reaction.
