"Channnn," Seungmin calls as they pass the reception and make their way down the corridor to their room.

Seungmin really wanted to appreciate the ornateness of the Dream Springs, the way the afternoon light cast warmth through the windows and how the smell of the minerals from the spring melted into the air. He wanted to look closer at the unique Japanese inspired artwork hanging upon the walls and explore the Zen Garden just outside. But he couldn't, not with Chan seething and stomping before him.

Seungmin had never seen Chan this fired up. Sure, he could remember bits and pieces from their time at the bar when Chan's friends had given him one too many and Seungmin had made a fool of himself, but that was nothing in comparison.

"Chan, breathe," Seungmin says sternly, again. He was thankful the hallway was empty, because Chan looked like he was ready to punch someone.

Chan stops in front of what Seungmin assumes is their room, the door key card tightly clasped in his fist. "Brothers?" he spits. "She assumed we were brothers? I betcha they do have private suites available; they probably just didn't want to give them to us," he growls. "-And disrespecting you by questioning if you were a girl? You're not in the least feminine! You're a boy! Dick and all. You know it's there; I've seen it and touched it! I should really go back there and explain that, to that ridiculous woman"

Chan was babbling now, and though he sounded ridiculous, Seungmin could understand the point he was trying to make. Chan knew he was a boy, but for some reason Seungmin couldn't explain, apparently today he looked like a girl? Maybe it was the fact he'd shaved his legs or maybe it was the beret? He had no idea. Of all things, he'd never been called a girl before. On top of that, Seungmin was sure Wendy had made an error with the bookings, but for all they knew there likely were other private suites available, they just didn't want to give it to them.

Seungmin swallows the lump in his throat. "I'd really rather you wouldn't. Don't get me wrong, I'm angry too, but let's not ruin our trip by getting caught up in other people's assumptions and concerns. Yes, it sucks we didn't get the room we originally chose, and it sucks that there are still Karens out in the world that like to assume things. But I'm not going to allow that to ruin our fun. It's not like they have signs up that say No Gays, or whatever. Let's just enjoy our time together, make the most of things."

Seungmin places his hand over Chan's, opening the older's fist and taking the key card.

"I'm sorry," Chan pouts, slowly turning on his heels. "I just want you to be happy, I can't stand seeing others disrespecting you like that."

"Channie, I am happy. I'm here with you and that's what counts."

Seungmin leans in, pressing his lips to Chan's in a soft reassuring kiss. He was sure Chan would burn this place to the ground if he wasn't careful and that wouldn't go down well for the rest of the trip.

"Let's head inside, shall we?"

Chan hums quietly so Seungmin uses the tag to open the door.

Although this was a different room it actually appeared almost the same as the private room they'd originally picked. Other than the two king singles that were parallel to the door, and the lack of a private bath, the overall decor was still just as tranquil.

The room itself was made with wood and stone that seemed to endlessly blend into the mountains that surrounded the spring. The sheets were white and fresh, as were the matching throw pillows, and the cute fluffy slippers and robes at the end of the bed looked comfy and inviting. Like they could put them on and melt into the softness. It was a small slice of heaven despite everything.
