After school finished, Seungmin went to his club activities as usual- which thankfully finished up in record speed. Just like Seungmin, everyone had been eager for the weekend to begin after their busy start to exam period.

Seungmin had then jumped in his car and headed onwards to Younghyun's house. Now parked behind Chan's car out-front, his heart started to pound like a caged bird. Whilst his mind had been occupied on his exams this past week, now his thoughts were shifting back to Chan, and it unnerved him at how the warm and fuzzy feelings he usually felt were nowhere to be seen.

Knowing he was about to see Chan face to face in only a moment's time, had all the doubt and dread he had been pushing aside suddenly breaking through his floodgates and eating away at his conscience.

Chan had to have talked with Jeongin, Seungmin was sure of it. At school, Jeongin would usually offer him a smile or a casual wave in hello, but now things were different. Jeongin had been actively avoiding him, looking away when eye contact was made and making his escape however it was possible at the first chance he got. As exes Seungmin didn't expect the boy to run at him with open arms, far from it, but their post relationship friendship had never had such distance.

The tension between him and Jeongin, only brought home how unfazed Chan evidently was. Chan still sent him good morning and goodnight messages. He still messaged throughout the day too, wishing him luck with his exams. It was like nothing had changed. Seungmin could almost lull himself to safety, thinking everything was ok.

But nothing was ok. So Seungmin was left dwelling on Chan's singular response over the phone. His mind repeating "I uh- we should talk about this in person," like a broken record on repeat.

Seungmin tries to think positively, he would find out soon and could stop worrying. Chan wasn't one to be cruel, just stubborn. Of all things, if he was going to worry, then he should worry more about the fact that he'd forgotten his change of clothes at school.

Younghyun's house may have been a decent couple of blocks from the Parade, but there were still just as many college students buzzing about making Seungmin more subconscious at just how much he stood out in his grey and red school uniform.

Seungmin sighs and fixes his hair in his mirror before popping his boot and getting out of his car. Usually, he always had an extra jacket, a coat, pants, anything. But for once, as he stared at his open boot, he only had his school bag.

Seungmin closes the lid. He was going to have to face Chan, Younghyun and Younghyun's friend in his school uniform, whether he liked it or not. Because he wasn't driving back to school to grab his other bag, and he had no plans to drive all the way home to get changed only to drive back again.

Seungmin takes a deep breath and quickly double checks the address Chan had sent him before he makes his way through a gate to a cute little town house. He then rings the doorbell and knocks twice on the door.

Within seconds the door flies open and Chan envelops him in a spine-tingling hug.

Seungmin had barely a second to grip on as Chan lifts him in the air, cuddles him with all his might and then drops him on his feet.

Seungmin, embarrassed, quickly pushes away and readjusts his clothes as he turns towards Younghyun and the stranger that now stood at his side. Had they met the other night? Seungmin wasn't sure.

"Hi Younghyun, " Seungmin waves awkwardly, as he avoids looking at Chan.

"Hey Seungmin! Good to see you again, this is my boyfriend Wonpil"

Seungmin's eyes alight, "You have a boyfriend!?" Seungmin was sure Chan had said Younghyun had a friend over, not a boyfriend. Did this count as a double date?! Seungmin turns to Wonpil. "It's nice to meet you- assuming we didn't meet the other night?"
