Zach
4 months laterWe're up at Jason's lake house with everyone for our annual 4th of July weekend. Landon and Audra couldn't come, it's Brian weekend but we're making the most of it. One plus is a room all to ourselves this morning with no kids to interrupt our very much desired session of morning sex. It sounds like everyone's awake and downstairs already so we have to be quiet.
I've got Nicole on all fours, ass up, my cock hard as a fucking rock as I plow into her. She feels so good, I'm glad she got back on birth control so I can feel every inch of her again.
"Having trouble staying quiet?" I murmur into Nicole's ear, my voice low and teasing.
"Yes... you feel so good, Zach," she gasps, her voice breathless, the words tumbling out in a rush. The way she says my name sends a wave of heat through me, pushing me to go deeper, harder.
I slide my fingers through her hair, twisting it around my fist, pulling her head back. I straighten up and smack her ass. Her breath catches, I push myself into her deeper. She gasps, a soft, needy whimper escaping her lips. Her body moves with mine, meeting each thrust, and I feel the way her muscles tighten around me.
"You're so fucking perfect," I growl, my hand gripping her waist, holding her steady. Every sound she makes, every inch of her body reacting to mine, drives me further.
Her breath comes in short bursts, each one more desperate than the last. "Zach, please..." she pleads, her voice trembling, her fingers gripping the sheets.
"Please what?" I ask, my voice rough with need, pushing her harder against the bed. There's a brief moment of silence. She doesn't answer, her body reacting instead, arching, her hands clutching tighter at the sheets, lost in the sensation. I take that silence as a sign and I continue to press deeper and faster.
"I wanna come." She murmurs.
"I want you to come too. Tell me what you need baby." I say not letting up my pace, her body is trembling, words aren't coming out so I start to guess for her. "You want me to slow down?"
"Fuck no, no." She says, I can't help but laugh slightly. "You want me to rub your clit?"
"No, spit, spit in me." She says, not hearing that request by her before, I spread her bouncing cheeks apart, and spit in it. The moan she lets out has me spinning. I'm not gonna last another minute.
"Like that?" I ask.
"Yes. Fuck yes, do it again." She begs, so I do. This time though, I take my thumb and hesitantly press into her hole. Not sure what I'm even doing, I've never done anything anal related with any girls.
"How bout this?" I ask her, the whimper she lets out tells me I have the green light. I smirk, unable to help it. "You want me to keep pushing, don't you?"
"Yes," she whispers urgently, her voice barely steady. "More. Don't stop."
I press my thumb in and continue to fuck her pussy harder. I feel her muscles, fighting to hold on, to keep control. I won't let her.
"Let go, baby," I urge, my voice low. "Come all over my cock."
She moans into the bed and I feel her release, the wetness overwhelming, I reach my tipping point and explode inside of her. She lets out another moan when she feels me.
I slow down and pull out of her nice and slow. She flips over to catch her breath and I lay besides her to do the same.
"That. Was good." She whispers,
"It was so good." I cuddle beside her and close my eyes. Both of us thinking about what all just happened I think.
"I didn't mean to get freaky on you, I just-"
"You kidding? I'm down for anything you want." I interrupt and lay my head closer to hers.
"Really? Brian always thought it was weird."
"Well he can pound sand and I'll just pound you." I smirk and make her laugh.
We get cleaned up and dressed. I head downstairs before Nicole, she wants to put some makeup on first.
I lean against the counter, sipping my coffee as Jason starts telling me about how the twins refusing to sleep last night. Trent butts in with the same statement and for once I'm actually glad I don't have a baby of my own. Getting up all night sounds brutal especially if you gotta go work a 12 hour shift or something the next morning.
I hear Nicole's footsteps coming down the stairs. They're faster than usual, not the post-sleep shuffle I'd expect. I glance up just as she appears in the doorway. Her face is pale, her phone clenched tightly in her hand. Her eyes locked on mine, wide and filled with something I can't read.
"Babe?" I set my mug down. Everyone else turns to look at her too, something's wrong.
"It's Brian," her voice trembling. "He got in a car accident."
The room goes silent.
"What?" I step toward her, trying to make sense of what she just said.
She takes an uneven breath, her hands shaking out of control. "His dad just called me. He got airlifted to the hospital, ge's in surgery right now."
Kristen gasps, "Oh my god."
"What?" Trent says
"Are Landon and Audra okay?" Cassidy urgently wonders.
Nicole nods quickly. "They were with his parents, but... fuck, I need to go." Panic setting into her words.
"You're not driving," I say immediately.
She opens her mouth to argue, but Jason steps in. "Yeah, absolutely not."
I grab my keys off the counter. Nicole nods, fighting to keep it together. My mind is racing and my heart is too.
Brian and I may not see eye to eye, hell, I'm the reason he's no longer at the department but right now, none of that matters. What matters is Nicole, her kids, and the fact that their lives just got turned upside down.
I take one last look at the kitchen, at everyone trying to process what's just happened, before turning back to Nicole. "Let's go."
Nicole is silent in the passenger seat beside me, her phone clutched tightly in her hands. Every so often, she types something but mostly, she just stares. Trying to keep it together but she's struggling.
"Do you want to call again?" I ask gently, breaking the silence.
"No," she whispers, "He said He'd call me with any updates."
I nod, tightening my grip on the wheel. There's nothing else I can say, so I focus on the road.
After 20 minutes, her phone vibrates. I watch her out of the corner of my eye, her finger trembling as she unlocks it.
Her face changes as she reads. The color drains from her cheeks, her lips parting slightly. Her hands drop into her lap, and her phone falls against her thighs.
She bursts into tears, "He didn't make it...!" She cries hysterically. Her words strike me harder than expected. I pull over onto the shoulder and throw it in park. Unbuckling my seatbelt, I get out and yank open her door.
"Come here," My voice is thick with emotion too. I unbuckle her seatbelt and pull her against me.
Wrapping my arms around her tightly. Her body shakes as she sobs into my chest, her hands clutching my shirt like it's the only thing keeping her stable.
"I'm sorry Nic." I admit somberly. Letting a few tears go myself, I know this is about the kids more than anything. He was their dad, this is going to be toughest on them.
"This can't actually be happening." She cries out, her body shaking.
I hold her tighter, "Just let it out baby. I've got you."
We stand here for a few minutes, I refuse to let go first.
Eventually, her sobs quiet, and her grip on me loosens. I pull back just enough to look at her, brushing her hair out of her tear streaked face.
I kiss her forehead, "I'm here. We'll get through this, okay? All of us." She wipes her tears away and nods understanding.
