Thanknyouuuu for requestingTw: fainting, mentions of throwing up
------
It had been a long day of rehearsals.
Enhypen had to push through hours of intense practice for an upcoming performance, their bodies sore and tired.
But even as they began to wind down for the night, Jay felt a heaviness settle in his chest.
His head was spinning, and the familiar wave of dizziness started creeping over him.
He'd been feeling this way for a while. Tired, weak, and his vision blurring at times. But he had learned to push it aside, chalking it up to the demanding schedules, the lack of proper sleep.
Besides, he didn't want to worry the others. He couldn't bring himself to tell them. After all, what good would it do? The last thing he wanted was to be seen as fragile or weak in their eyes.
As the final notes of their rehearsal played out, Jay lingered behind, pretending to go over the choreography one last time.
His legs felt like jelly, his hands a little too cold to be normal.
He pressed a hand against his stomach, hoping the nausea would pass. But it didn't. He hadn't eaten much that day, and it was starting to catch up with him.
"Jay hyung, you okay?" Sunghoon's voice cut through his thoughts.
Jay blinked rapidly, trying to focus on Sunghoon's face.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired, you know?"
Sunghoon raised an eyebrow, unconvinced. He stepped closer, his eyes scanning Jay's face, looking for any signs of distress. "You sure? You don't look too good."
"I'm fine," Jay repeated, forcing a smile. "Just need a minute."
Sunghoon didn't look satisfied with that answer, but he didn't press further. Instead, he glanced around the room, making sure no one else was paying attention.
He knew Jay well enough to understand when something was off, but Jay was stubborn. He would never admit it.
The group packed up their things, heading towards the van that would take them back to the dorm.
Jay kept his distance, trying his best to hide his discomfort. The cool air in the van felt nice against his skin, but it didn't ease the tightness in his chest.
He could feel his blood sugar dropping, the familiar signs of hypoglycemia starting to take hold.
His hands trembled slightly, and his vision blurred again, making it harder to concentrate on the conversation around him.
Jungwon, the leader, noticed Jay's silence. "Hyung, you sure you're okay? You've been quiet all day."
Jay managed a small nod. "I'm fine, Jungwon. Just a little tired. Don't worry about me."
Jungwon's gaze lingered on Jay for a moment, but he let it go.
Jay had always been the reliable older brother, the one who kept everything together. But lately, there had been something in his eyes that made Jungwon uneasy.
As they arrived at the dorm, Jay's headache worsened. His stomach churned, and he could feel himself becoming weaker by the second.
He stumbled as he got out of the van, nearly falling, but Jake quickly caught him.
