After work, I headed home, utterly exhausted. Once I got home, I dropped my purse and work bag on the couch before heading to the bathroom to take off my make up, take a shower, and put on pajamas. I came out of the bathroom feeling much better. Sitting down at my desk, I opened my web browser, searching for a good company to fence in my yard. After about an hour I found one that I liked at called, scheduling an appointment to get a quote.

Once that was done, I closed my browser, after bookmarking that web page, and opened the game and hoping that Heirophant was on.

He was.

Heirophant: Hello, (G/T [Gamertag]), how are you?

(G/T): Tired, how about you?

Heirophant: I'm also tired. I've been traveling all day. What about you?

(G/T): Paperwork and studying. I'm going to be becoming the owner of a large business soon and my mother, the current owner, has been giving me more and more responsibilities to prepare me. I've also been studying about a breed of dog that I am going to be getting soon.

Heirophant: Exciting on both counts! Is there any specific reason that you are getting a dog?

(G/T): Eh, just for company mainly. The other reason is for protection since I live alone in a big city and often like to go for walks, but mainly for company. Living alone can get very lonely especially when you had two younger siblings before moving out.

Heirophant: Ah, I understand. I've wanted a dog for a long time, but my career as a professional gamer has been hampering the ability to do so.

(G/T): That's sad. The restrictiveness of that life is one of the reasons I didn't go into professional gaming like my younger brothers did. I also needed to take up the family's company since neither of them wanted to.

Heirophant: I see. I agree that it is restrictive, but it is also very enjoyable.

(G/T): I'm glad you find it fun. I'm pretty sure you knew one of my brothers at one point. I'm not going to say names because I want you to figure it out, but you've also met me once.

Heirophant: Really now? Well, I hope you are telling the truth because I will be coming to China very soon. Don't tell anyone, though. Anyway, why don't we start playing?

(G/T): Okay!

We played for a few hours before agreeing that it was time to call it a night.

I flopped on my bed, thoroughly wrung out from the long day. Heirophant is coming to China, huh? Well, I hope to meet up with him then. He seems like he is still the same after so many years. Thinking on that fact, I fell asleep, dreaming of the past.

I woke up to my phone exploding with notifications from multiple different social media platforms, all exploding over a new video that was uploaded. Looks like I am on admin duty again. I hurriedly get ready for the day before sitting down at my computer and multitasking between my two jobs: my corporate job and my administrative job. Man is today going to be fun! Note the sarcasm.

At the end of the day, I got a call from Cheng explaining the whole situation. Apparently, Fatty had posted the video out of dislike for Yue and it then spread like wildfire. Thankfully, Fatty apologized and the situation started to die down from there.

So, with all my work done I started doing more research on German Shepherds and good trainers that are relatively close by. It turns out that there was a good trainer a couple streets over from my house. I visited their website, trying to figure out how long their course was and how much it costs. It was petty expensive but not terrible, and the course lasted two months.

With that figured out, I started looking for German Shepherd puppies that I could adopt within the next month. I found a family that was expecting a litter in the next few days so I contacted them, asking them to keep me updated on the litter. They agreed to keep me updated as they only had one other person that was interested in the litter. I started dancing in my seat with excitement. I will have a companion soon! I won't be alone in this house anymore!

I got up from my desk, sighing with contentment before flopping on my bed. I then decided to bother Cheng with this by calling him. I snatched my phone from my bedside table and quickly found Cheng's number before calling him. It rang for a second before he picked up.

"Hey, what's up, (Y/N/N)?"  Cheng queried, sounding exhausted.

"So, y'know how I decided to get a puppy?" I asked.

"Yes...?" Cheng answered hesitantly.

"Well, I found a family whose German Shepherd was expecting a litter in the next couple of days so I asked them to keep me updated and they agreed. So, in the next couple of days I will be hopefully be going to see the litter and get to see them as they grow. That way, when I adopt the one that I want, I will already have a bond with him or her and I will know their personality," I explained in a rush.

"That's good, and I can tell you're excited..."  he trailed off, chuckling at my antics.

"Well, I am so leave me alone!" I yelled into the phone, hoping to deafen him, and, by the sound he made, I succeeded.

"Stop trying to deafen me, (Y/N). I kinda need my ears," he stated, obviously disappointed with me.

I grin. "Well, that was the point! Anyway, I'll let you go as it's getting late. Goodnight, little brother!"

"Goodnight, (Y/N/N),"  he murmured before hanging up.

Sighing, I set my phone back down on my bedside table before heading back over to my monitors. I shut them off, getting prepared to head for bed, but first, I had to do my nightly routine. With that in mind, I went to my closet and picked out my favorite set of pajamas before walking to my bathroom. Once inside, I changed, brushed my teeth, wiped off my makeup, did my skin care routine, and used the bathroom. After all that, I went to bed.
