Ty coughed hard as he came into my room, "it smells like something died in here, what is that?"

"Probably Nico." I replied snorting.

My older brother glared at me, "it's not that bad!" His new cologne was disgusting.

"It is." Ty and I replied in unison.

"Be careful the smell doesn't get on you, it would be a shame if Blanca couldn't come closer to you than one meter because you reek so bad." My younger brother added snickering.

"One meter is generous." I replied grinning.

We all turned towards the stairs confused as the door downstairs was shut, there was footsteps on the stairs before Emmanuel appeared in the doorway. His faced screwed up as he stumbled back, "jesus what is that? Did you three kill someone and hide their rotting corpse under the floorboard?"

"That's it, I'm throwing it away." Nico announced furiously as he marched out of the room.

Emmanuel leaped back dramatically as Nico walked past him, "don't get your cologne vesicles on me, I don't want to stink!"

"Shut up you asshole!" Nico shot back slamming his door closed.

"Not that I'm not happy to see you, but what are you doing here?" I asked Emmanuel, other than that last time with Blanca I'd never seen him over here before.

"He's Blanca's replacement." Ty filled in.

I shot him an amused look, "for what our date?"

"That's right sweetcheeks, I can't wait to see what you have planned." Emmanuel replied winking.

My younger brother rolled his eyes, "he's Blanca's replacement as my babysitter. Our parents are on holiday and you and Nico are both on dates and Mom and Dad are at that weirdo retreat which means I'm stuck with this weirdo to look after me."

"He loves me." Emmanuel corrected smirking.

"I do not." Ty retorted.

Loves me, Emmanuel mouthed cover Ty's ears with his hands, "totally obsessed, he has pictures of me all up in his room. I don't know if you'd noticed but I'm kind of his idol."

My little brother shoved him off but I could tell he was amused, "you are such a freak."

Bickering the two of them walked down the stairs leaving me to return to my freaking out about what the hell I was going to wear for the date I'd stupidly set with less that twenty four hours to plan it.

In one hour I had to pick her up and and even though I'd been wracking my brain I couldn't think of a single thing to do that would be 'fucking perfect' like I'd promised.

"Okay, okay," I muttered to myself annoyed, "what does she like? Dolphins, marine Biology, the colour red, music, football..." That was all way too random for one thing, I needed to focus.

She'd liked the music festival, what else was going on in here that was like that. I dragged my hand over my face, "use your brain idiot." I muttered to myselftapping my foot on the floor.

I turned as something clattered to the ground, a piece of stale tobacco from five years ago, my friends and I had eaten it before a rollercoaster at the carnical and we'd all thrown up because of- that was it, the carnival! I would take her to the carnival, I remeber even when we were too little to be allowed to go on the rides she would go anyways because she liked the atmosphere so much.

I left out a sigh of relief,  thank god I'd finally worked it out, one less thing to worry about completely fucking up.
