Isang araw na rin ang lumipas nang mamasyal kami ni Lucas. Kung saan saan niya ako dinala, sobra naman akong nag-enjoy. Sinong hindi 'diba? Isang paraiso ang Batanes sa ganda.

I had been meaning to post the photos I took but I hadn't gotten around to it until now. As I opened my facebook account to share them, I noticed a notification.

It had been sent about five hours ago. Naka-private ang account niya kaya hindi ko ma-stalk, so I just hit "Accept". Wala masiyadong laman ang account niya, except for his profile picture. In that photo, he was topless, leaning sideways against the edge of a yacht, facing away from the camera. His broad back and well-defined muscles were highlighted by the soft golden light of the setting sun.

It seemed like he was an introvert on Facebook, not revealing too much about himself. Masiyadong mapagpanggap ang isang 'to.

May story siya kaya tiningnan ko. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang makita ko ang picture ko roon. Ito iyong kuha niya na pinipicturan ko ang view. Walang caption but gave off a vibe that made it look like I'm his girlfriend.

I stepped out of the room and saw Lucas sitting outside the house.

"Hoy," I called out.

I watched as he quickly flicked the cigarette away the moment he saw me. He turned his head slightly and straightened up from his slouched position, clearly trying to hide the evidence of his bad habit.

"Hmm?" he muttered, looking up at me with a neutral expression.

Naaamoy ko pa rin ang usok ng sigarilyo. Mabuti na lang at naalala ko ang rason kung bakit ko siya nilabas.

"Burahin mo nga 'yong story mo," I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Why?" tumaas ang kilay niya.

I narrowed my eyes at him, resisting the urge to roll my eyes. "Issue," I replied shortly. "Mapagkamalan pa 'kong isa sa mga babae mo."

His lips twitched into a small grin. He leaned back, relaxing slightly, as if he wasn't taking me seriously.

"Hindi ba?" he teased.

I felt the heat rise in my chest. The nerve of him! I could feel my blood start to boil.

"Hindi talaga," I shot back. "Hindi naman ako nahuhumaling sa'yo,"

He laughed quietly at my response.

"Really? But we had sex and kissed—"

"Shut up!" inis na sabi ko.

The nerves in my body on edge as the anger bubbled over.

"Hindi mo 'ko babae dahil hindi kita gusto. Hindi ako nahuhumaling sa'yo." diretsang sabi ko.

Napawi ang ngisi niya. I refused to let him think that just because we'd been physical, it meant something more. It had never meant anything more to me. Nangailangan siya, ganoon din ako. Sigurado akong hindi ko siya gusto.

"Okay," he simply said. Muli siyang kumuha ng stick ng sigarilyo at sinindihan ito. "Pumasok kana sa loob. Masisinghot mo 'to," dagdag niya.

Imbes na sumunod, umupo ako sa tabi niya at astang kukuha rin ng isang stick pero agad niya iyong naagaw sa kamay ko.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"Susubukan ko lang," sabi ko.

He clicked his tongue in disapproval, shaking his head as if I'd done something wrong.
