And I'd break all the pages
and burn them down
I'd swim
through the waves of the ocean
Until I wouldn't know
how to come back
I'd hesitate to touch
the inner essence of madness
Hidden inside my heart
Until it would explode in agony
And spread over my lost dreams
And extinguished ambitions.
May my innocent sins
Suffocate in my obsessions
I am quiet
Not mindless
And you wouldn't know
how it feels like
To see it all slipping
between my fingers
Waiting for another song
Watching another sunrise with hope
Only to be forgotten
in my own paradise
Slowly turning into hell.
Would you know how is it like
To love the night
but hate when it comes
When you'd give anything
for it to last forever
And everything
for it to never come back
As long as you don't let
your passions to consume you
You might still yet have a chance
To escape the distopic bridge
Between what you are
And what you wish to be.
