(I am so homosexual for this bright green crocodile of a man 🤤)

I quietly walk a few rooms down, passing a few guards on the way.

They seemed more on edge than usual. Maybe one of the patients had gotten rowdy and escaped.

Well, nevermind that. I pull out my files, flipping through them.

God, this folder is inconvenient. I'll have to ask Kira for one of those digital ones. I think Galena has one, so hopefully I can get my hands on one, now that I have a ridiculous amount of patients.

--------

-- Name : Sebek Zigvolt

-- Age: 25

-- Disorders: ASD, Generalised anxiety, OCD, BPD, Narcissistic personality disorder, Obsessive Love Disorder.

(Patient experiences vocal strain, medications for this pain are administered by the physician's desk near the entrance to the ward)

-- Patient was admitted to the asylum by the police. Sebek was found with with three other individuals, which are now housed in the asylum. Sebek was extremely agitated, and vehemently refused to be away from the two older members of his group, and became violent when they were forced apart.

-- Warnings: Don't pick a fight with him, don't interrupt him, avoid ignoring signs of vocal strain (Excessive clearing of the throat, softer or raspier voice, ect.)

Hm... I should pick up that medication just on case. It would be inconvenient if I left to get it in the middle of our talk.

I make my way back up the hall, the decor shifting to be more muted and sterile once I reach the main area.

The physician's desk isn't too far away, nor is it hard to see, because of the shelves stacked with various medications behind it.

There's only one person behind the desk today. I hadn't talked to them much, I think their name is Pearce.

As I approach, they perk up slightly, standing on the opposite side of the desk. "Afternoon, doctor."

"Hello. I'm here to pick up some medication for 'Sebek Zigvolt'?" I say politely, as the physician types the name into a small computer next to them.

"Sebek, Sebek... Ah, here we are." They type a few more things out, before walking over to one of the shelves against the wall. After a few moments, they walk back to me, holding a small plastic container with two smaller pills inside.

"Alright, I'ma need your name, and I'll need to check your badge too." They gesture with their hand, picking up a scanner to check the chip in my badge.

"Oh, I'm Doctor Yuu." They scan my badge as I speak, nodding in confirmation. (Just imagine your last name was there too-)

"... Okay, that looks good. Here you go." They say with a smile, handing me the container and a tiny water bottle. "Oh, and make sure he actually takes them. Sebek has been known to be stubborn about his meds."

"Alright, thankyou so much." I smile at them, before walking quickly back towards Sebek's room.

---

After walking into his room, I'm greeted with a familiar sight. As I had suspected, this was the same man that came into Silver's room before.

His eyes widen as he looks at me, recognition flicking through his expression.

"Ah, hello again! I suspected you would be in here soon!" He said loudly, his arms folded behind his back. He clears his throat softly.

"Hello Sebek. My name is Yuu, I'm going to be your doctor for the foreseeable future." I say with a nod, taking note of how he was clearing his throat.

He nodded curtly at that. "I assumed so! As you were talking to Silver, it was only logical you-!" He clears his throat once more. "Ahem. It was only logical that you would come to talk to me next."

My brow furrows. "How is your throat feeling? Is it sore at all?" Sebek stiffened.

"How bold of you to ask. My throat is feeling perfectly fine!" It's obvious he's lying. His voice has progressively gotten raspier, and his volume has gotten slightly lower.

I raise a suspicious eyebrow, fishing the container of his medication out of my coat pocket. "Well, even so, I'd like you to take these, please."

A stubborn scowl spreads onto his face. "I do not need it! I feel fine-!" A cough escaped him, as he cleared his throat some more.

A deadpanned smile spreads on my face. "Are you sure?"

He stood there stubbornly for a moment.

"... Fine. I will take them."

I let out a triumphant breath, handing him the small bottle of water and the medicine. He seemed confused. "You're... Letting me take them on my own?"

"Yes, why wouldn't I?" My eyebrow raises in confusion.

Sebek shakes his head, his cheeks slightly flushed. From embarassment or from confusion, I don't know.

"Nevermind that... Thankyou." He takes the medicine from me, taking them quickly with the water. He seems to gag lightly while swallowing the meds, but otherwise, he takes them well. Lucky I ended up picking up the medicine beforehand.

"Ugh.." Sebek groaned lightly, handing me back the empty container.

"Are you alright? Have some trouble swallowing?" I ask him with genuine concern.

"I am perfectly fine!" Sebek responded, nodding curtly, before taking another sip of water. "That is just a reflex."

My brow furrows, but before I could say anything more, my alarm rang.

"... Well, okay. But if you need anything, please do let me, or one of the other doctors know, okay?" I smile lightly at the man, before moving to make my way out. "I'll be back tomorrow."

Sebek was still for a moment, before nodding in understanding. "Of course. I shall see you then!" He bowed once more, before I left his room.

Sebek's POV

... How kind of them. To be so kind to give me water to take with that seven's forsaken medication. And to act so insistent on making sure I'm not in pain.

I groan in disgust, but the feeling of taking medication on my own terms is a lot more comfortable than... being force fed.
