A wave of relief fills me as I realise I'm finally at the room of my last patient. Sevens, I get to go home soon! I get to book a massage!

I eagerly grab my files, searching for the one that matches the room number.

And as I open it, I'm met with... A really badly kept file. Some words are completely unintelligible.

Okay, this might be a problem. I can't read this patients name at all, and their species... Well, I can tell they're some kind of Fae?

God, what even happened to this file? It's wrecked. Hopefully once I manage to get one of those digital files, I'll be able to read this poor guy's name.

I gently knock on his door, before opening it and stepping inside. The first thing I notice, are the curled, ebony horns protruding from his forehead, and his bright green eyes.

I'm met with a confused, almost blank look from the patient. It took him a few minutes to register me, but he seemed curious.

"Oh? I do not believe we have met before." He speaks smoothly, his voice warm yet commanding. "... At least, I don't think we have?"

I smile politely, unable to help myself from admiring his handsome features. "No, we haven't met before. My name is Yuu, I'm your doctor now."

He tilts his head slightly, his eyes widening a fraction. His shock fades as he lets out a smooth chuckle. "Oh, that's wonderful to hear..." He clears his throat. "... I would introduce myself, but I do not remember my name." He seems embarrassed.

I chuckle softly. "Maybe I can think of a nickname for you."

He tilts his head once more, a soft smirk gracing his lips. "You may give me whatever name you like."

I think for a moment, before shrugging. "I'll think of one eventually. For now though, I'd like to ask a few questions."

The patient nods. Wow, it's refreshing to talk to someone so cordial!

"First, how have you been feeling lately? For example, have you been feeling worse since your last doctor visited?" His expression seems to shift as I mention Aren. His pupils dilated into small slits.

"I have been... Relieved. I have had a lot more peace since... Whatever their name was left." He says lowly.

I laugh softly at his words, his pupils returning to a rounded shape and his ears perking up at the sound. "Did you forget their name? Oh- I'm not judging, just curious!" I say quickly, not wanting to offend him.

He takes a seat on his bed, letting out a soft huff. "I frankly do not want to be reminded."

I chuckle softly... Before I finally manage to think of a nickname! Yet before I could tell him, my alarm rang out. "Ah, that's all my time for today."

He tilts his head, smiling politely. "Of course. I assume you'll be back?" I nod at his words, smiling softly.

"Of course I'll be back." I walk over to the door, stepping through before turning back to him. "Bye, Tsunotarou." I had heard that name in a book once, I thought it suited him.

His eyes widen slightly, cheeks flushing a tad as I close the door behind me.

----------
'Tsunotarou' POV

Sevens, how bold of them...

I smile smoothly, my face still lightly flushed. Tsunotarou?

This human surely doesn't fear me one bit... How refreshing.

.... I mustn't let Lilia learn about this nickname, he'll never let me live it down.

---------
Yuu's POV. Again

As I close the door, I hear an odd, strangled gasping noise. I turn to observe the noise.

My blood runs cold. Standing on the opposite side of the hallway, staring me down, was Ruthien. His eyes are wide, almost manic.

I shudder in fear as he quickly approaches me. Before I could step away, he stopped in front of me, his eyes wide as he stared at me. "Hah- Have you seen Moon?" He said quickly, his hands trembling, clenching and unclenching.

I raise my eyebrows. "Wh- Sorry?" I ask softly, holding my files tightly against my chest.

"Moon. Have you seen him." He repeats sternly, his eyes seemingly glazed over with... tears?

The lights slowly flicker above him.

"Uh..." I shift uncomfortably on the spot, his form looming over mine. "... No, I don't think I have. Why?"

Ruth breathes shakily, swallowing thickly as the tears in his eyes well up. He quickly blinks them away, taking another breath. "He's missing. Hasn't shown up since yesterday." He whispers shakily, the lights continuing to flicker.

My brow furrows. "... Well, I'm sorry to hear that... Maybe you could ask Aren if anything happened..?" I ask hesitantly, feeling extremely uncomfortable due to his unblinking stare.

He chuckles humourlessly, rubbing his eyes roughly. "Aren... Aren..." He whispers, his eyes still moist with tears.

"Th... Thanks... Doctor" He mumbles hesitantly. Woah, that was weird to hear from Ruth's mouth.

He gives me a rough pat on the shoulder, causing me to flinch. His fingers curl roughly around my shoulder, before he seems to force himself to pull away.

He then turns around, walking back out of the hall. The lights continue to flicker above him as he walks, an occasional stifled sob coming from his retreating form.

He was crying...
