I walked down the hall humming softly to myself, wondering how Aren was handling my old patients. Hopefully they were just as out of whack as I was.

My thinking was cut short when I approached my next patients room.

I looked down at their file.
———————————————————

I nod to myself, before unlocking the door and entering the room.

Cater was sprawled out on his bed, looking extremely bored. When he heard the door, he looked at me with a strange expression. "Where's my doctor?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

I closed the door and walked towards Cater with a smile. "I'm your new doctor, starting today. My name is Yuu." I smile at the orange haired man.

He smiled back and sat up, straightening his clothes. "Well, that's a perfect change of pace! Lovely to meet you, doctor!" Cater gave me a massive smile that almost had you fooled, had you not read his file.

"Okay, so, since it's my first time seeing you, how about some ice breakers?" Cater said, as I move to stand in front of him. I raise a curious eyebrow.

"That sounds fine, how about you go first?" I ask Cater with a tentative smile.

"Alrighty! Hmmmm..." He does a cartoony thinking motion, gripping his chin between his thumb and forefinger. "... Oh! What's your sexuality?" He smirked at the end of his sentence.

I halt in confusion at his question. It's an odd thing to ask someone you just met. "I'm (Your sexuality). What about you?"

"Ah, I'm Bisexual!" He smiles lightly, before I continue to steer the conversation back to the actual topic of why I was here.

Basic questions about how he had been feeling, explaining what I was going to be doing. Sometimes, in between us talking, his expression shifted ever so slightly. But shifted back as soon as it came, back to that calm, almost flat, smile.

Eventually, my phone alarm went off, shocking Cater a bit.

"Oh, I have to go n-" "Can we take a pic together?" Cater interrupted me quickly, his voice oddly calm.

I thought for a moment, hesitating, before nodding. It couldn't hurt. Plus, maybe this would help him trust me.

After I took the picture, Cater wrapped an arm around me in an awkward side hug. "Thankyou (N/N)!" (That means nickname if you don't know)

(N/N)?
I like that name. It suits me.

I pulled out of the awkward hug and walked towards the door. "I'll see you tomorrow, Cater." I see him smile before saying goodbye.

With that, I went to my next patient.

Cater's POV

Well, that was a welcome change. They were so nice to me, unlike that other doctor...
