Since Kira, the receptionist, has a lot to say this chapter, I decided to draw her! Just for some easier visuals :}

(You can still make up her appearance if you don't like how I drew her / can't see the picture, no harm done 💜) ---------- I stretch with a groan as I stroll into the main corridor. Kira, the receptionist, glances me as I enter.
"All done for the day?" She asks kindly, leaning her chin on her palm.
I offer her a small smile. "Yep, my shift is over for today. Might grab a snack before I go." I gesture to a nearby vending machine.
Kira returned my smile, tucking some of her hair out of her face. "Any plans for tonight?"
"Eh, I'm probably just going to stay at home, pour myself some wine, and have a bath..." My tone is wistful as I walk over to the vending machine.
"Oh, that sounds nice. Maybe I could join you one for a drink one of these days." Kira says with a chuckle, adjusting her glasses slightly.
As my chosen snack drops into the retrieval slot of the machine, I grab it eagerly and turn to Kira with a smile.
"Sounds like a plan, Kir. You have my number, right? We could make some plans."
She chuckles softly, nodding. "On my work phone, yes. I'll be sure to message you."
I hum happily as I bid Kira adieu, scanning my card at the door to unlock it, and walking out.
The air was oddly crisp this time of day, as it had been warm this week. Winter was coming soon, so it made some sense.
I internally cheer as I reach my car, slipping in and quickly eating my snack from the vending machine.
Time to go home and get some rest.
------------------
"Ugh, finally..." I mumble as I walk through my front door. For my salary, my home was quite nice. The extra rooms made for a very good office and guest room... Not that I had many guests.
I take my shoes and coat off at the door, before stumbling into the kitchen.
"Hah... That bath is sounding better and better." My words are muttered under my breath, as I feed my pet. It got lonely here all on my own, so getting a pet is a no brainer.
(What pet do y'all want? I can't decide lmao)
I walk to my cupboard, grabbing a fancy glass and a bottle of wine. Might as well treat myself today!~
My feet tap gently against the floorboards as I make my way to my bedroom.
----------
"Haaahh... That's better.." The steam from the bath fills my bathroom, my wine glass perched on a stool next to it.
The scent of lavender bubbles up with the foam of the bath, making my muscles relax.
I carefully extend a sudsy hand, picking up my wine glass languidly, and taking a long sip and shutting my eyes.
All is well...
...
Except.
I open my eyes, my brows furrowing. Something feels... Wrong. Off.
I place my glass back down, sitting up straight in the bath, the bubble foam sticking to my bare skin.
I look towards the only window in the bathroom, which currently has the blinds shut.
The window which was far above the ground from outside... Which no human could possibly be able to look through....
"Ugh, Yuu, stop being so paranoid..." I mumble, picking my wine glass back up and taking another sip. "I swear, working at Night Raven is driving me crazy..."
I chuckle softly, settling back into the steaming, fragrant bath.
The steam fogs up the mirrors as I relax, my head feeling pleasantly floaty from the wine.
------------ Ominous bathroom chapter, spoooooky~
(I know this one was pretty short, but I like it.)
