The lunch break I got was probably my favourite time of day, because it meant I got some free leftovers from the kitchen. Love the ladies in the kitchen so much, they're probably the only ones who're keeping my diet stable.
But now, it was back to this depressing job.
I walked past the Scarabia hall, and stroll into the hallway labelled 'Pomefiore.'
-- Patient was admitted to the asylum by his grandmother, who seemed very upset to be leaving him here. He seemed docile and calm for the first few days, but then the violent outbursts began. We have reason to suspect that there is something or someone triggering these. Continue to monitor.
-- Warnings: Don't antagonise him, don't try to force him into anything as he will attack you if he gets fed up. He is stronger than he looks. ————————————————————
Okay, this shouldn't be too hard to deal with. Lyf has IED too, so I know how to avoid outbursts.
I unlock the door, strolling inside. I was met with the sight of Epel quite quickly, as his head whipped towards the door.
He seemed extremely on edge, and despite his softer looks, he looked a bit... Intimidating.
"Good afternoon Epel. My name is Yuu, and I'm going to be your doctor from now on." I say politely, offering him a cautious smile.
"Huh. So them guys in the dining hall weren't lyin' afta' all, huh?" He tilts his head, seeming to relax a little.
"Well, your previous doctor decided to be an ass and convince the boss to swap our patients-" I cut myself off, knowing I should at least try and stay professional.
Epel laughed, crossing his arms. "I like ya already, doc."
I smile in embarrassment. "Thankyou Epel, that's kind of you."
He seems to go still for a moment, turning his head away slightly... Wait, is he blus-
"Well, uh.." He clears his throat. "Ya got any other patients in this wing?"
I pull out my files, looking through them quickly.
"Yes, i have two more, Vil and Rook. Do you know them?" Epel's brow furrows.
"Yeah, 'nd they're both pieces o' work." He crosses his arms and frowns.
I chuckle dryly. "A lot of people in here are."
His expression seemed to soften once more, before I got to my usual drone of what I would be doing during these sessions, and how I'd be helping out.
After a while, the alarm on my phone went off. I quickly set it to turn off.
"That's all the time I have for you for today. It was lovely to meet you." I smile at him again, he nods curtly.
"Uh, yeah. Same 'ere doc." He nods again, sitting on the edge of his bed.
I turn and leave his room, before walking to the next patient.
———————————————————— Epel's POV
Well that was... Something.
Ace said they were a looker, but god damn, I didn't expect him to be telling the truth.

Plus he has questionable taste, considering that one crazy chick he dated when he was first admitted.
