Y'all, were finally back to Yuu's POV!!
I hope you guys enjoy the chapter, and sorry about the random break I took, I was really burnt out, and generally kinda sad. But I'm okay now!
Remember, I love you all 💕 And I hope you're all safe and happy.
---------------------
As I stroll into the last hallway I was assigned to, I let out an audible sigh of relief.
Four more. Four more patients to go, then I can go home and have a well earned drink.
I pull out my folder, flipping the pages to the Diasomnia section.
----------
-- Name: Silver (No record of any external family.)

-- Disorders: Narcolepsy, Anxiety, ASD, Obsessive Love Disorder, High Functioning Depression, Schizophrenia.
-- Patient was admitted to the asylum by the police. Silver was found with with three other individuals, which are now housed in the asylum. Silver seemed to be in an almost half asleep state when he got here, and was extremely disoriented when he 'woke up.'
-- Warnings: Don't force him to stay awake / wake up, don't provoke him, don't speak loudly.
-----
(Y'all these file things are so hard to make for each character- 😅)
(I wanna turn Obsessive Love disorder into an acronym so it's easier to write, but the acronym is OLD 💀)
-----
I look over the file quickly, before closing the folder and walking into Silver's room.
As I step in, Silver can be seen laying on his bed. He lazily lolls his head towards the door, his silky hair falling around his head.
"... Oh, sorry." With a soft grunt, he sits up in his bed, pushing his hair back. His eyes flick across my form in a curious manner.
"It's alright." I smile at the man, stepping closer to him. "... I'm sure you're confused as to why I'm in here, yeah?" All of the patients so far had been confused, so I wanted to cover that base quickly.
Silver nodded, tilting his head. "Yeah, actually..." He slowly stands from his bed, his legs trembling slightly.
"Well, Aren decided to switch their patients with mine, so I'm your new doctor." I smile politely, my fingers drumming against my files.
Silver's whole frame seemed to almost shrink, as he relaxed a bit at my words.
"Really?" Silver said groggily, gently fiddling with the hem of his shirt.
"Mhm. My name is Yuu, it's nice to meet you." I nod, as he extends a hesitant, scarred hand.
"Silver. But you already know that." He says gently as I shake his hand. His hands are calloused, yet soft.
I nod, my expression remaining polite. As I pull my hand away from Silver's, he seemed a bit... Upset, almost. But that expression quickly dropped from him.
As I start to ask him the basic questions, like how he's been feeling and if he needs anything, the door slams open, and a man with sharp, light green hair bursts in.
"Silver! You were not in the cafeteria during lunch! Master Lilia sent me to-" He cuts himself off mid sentence as his eyes lock with mine.
His features are sharp, his pupils slitted like a cats.
"Ah! My apologies! I didn't know a doctor would be in here!" He bowed politely, his posture stiff as a board.
I simply stand where I am for a moment, stunned by how clear and loud his voice is.
The green haired man turns back to Silver. "As I was saying! Master Lilia sent me to check on you!"
Silver groaned softly. "I'm fine, Sebek, there's no need to be so loud. I slept through it, I wasn't meaning to worry anyone..."
Sebek. I swear that sounds familiar... Oh, he's my next patient! I saw his name on the file behind Silver's.
"Well, I shall be on my way then! I will let master Lilia know if what happened!" Sebek announced before I could even say anything. He turned to me, bowing once more, before leaving.
"... I'm so sorry about him" Silver said, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "He can be a bit... Proud, I guess."
"Oh, it's okay! I'm not too bothered. One of my old patients was pretty loud too." I chuckle, as I think back to how loud Cress got sometimes... I wonder how he's adjusting to the switch?
A relieved expression forms on Silver's face, he rubs the back of his neck. "Good... I assume you have him as a patient too..?"
I nod, glancing at his file. A note is attached about him having some medication I had to pick up. "Yes, right after I finish with you, actually."
As I speak, I can't help but notice that Silver's eyes have started to droop, and he seemed to be slouching a bit more.
"... Mh. Good luck, he's... Pretty uptight." Silver mumbled.
I tilt my head, noticing his change in demeanor. Before I could ask if something was wrong, his eyes fell closed as he slumped forward.
"Woah-" I quickly, yet clumsily catch him before he falls over onto the floor. I definitely didn't expect him to just fall over like this. He seemed to drape himself against me, his head fallen against my shoulder.
With minor struggle, I manage to carefully lay him down onto his bed, making sure not to accidentally knock anything over.
I observe him for a moment, against my better judgement. He looked so peaceful, despite just having passed out.
As I stand up, my alarm rang, signalling for me to head to my next patient. What a coincidence, it rings right when I'm finished this time.
I quietly move away from him, before stepping out of the room and gently closing the door behind me.

Silver's POV
As my doctor gently laid me on my bed, I'm stirred from sleep slightly. My eyes trail them as they leave, a soft fuzzy feeling in my chest.
They didn't let me fall...
They were so... Gentle with me...
