Screams echoed off the walls as a tool drilled into my ribcage, splitting it open as blood splattered around on the lab walls.

"Parker, I don't know if I should—" Derek said, his voice shaking as his hands were covered in his sister's blood.

"Keep going!" I shouted, my hand tightly grasping Cora's as she stood beside me on the operating table of the abandoned hospital.

"Are your powers really worth all this?" Cora asked.

"Yes!" I snap back, gritting my teeth as Derek's hand pushed past the organs, feeling around for the small device the Dread Doctors had placed by my spine that cut off my abilities as a werewolf.

"I can't get it.." Derek shook his arm out, blood splattering on the ground.

"Fine." I get my other hand free from its restraint and taking in a deep breath.

"Parker, no." Cora grabbed for my hand.

Warm liquid submerged my hand and arm as I rifled around, trying to grab the device blindly as Derek looked away, a hand covering his eyes.

"Almost....." my fingers latched onto the device and tugged, a flare of grogginess shooting through me.

I yanked the device out, blood dripping off it and down my entire arm, small wires dripping red as they dangled in the air.

"That was disgusting." I threw the device aside and sat up, with protests from my brother and sister.

"Did it work?" Derek asked, his hands clutching my arm to clean it off with an already bloody rag.

"Hm. Don't know.." I shrugged, my eyes drooping as I fell back into Cora, my senses dulling until I could only hear the sound of my heart beating faintly.

"Do we need to get Scott? Or maybe someone closer?" Cora's hushed whisper to our brother broke through, the sound echoing and rattling in my brain.

A small smile flickered onto my face, and I laughed tiredly. "It worked.."

"Stiles!" I ran over to where he and Scott were talking with Noah. "Hey, you guys okay?"

Noah looked at me oddly. "Parker. Surprised you didn't have a hand in this. Aren't you three kind of a..packed deal again?"
