the han family had a rule.
every single Friday, it didn't matter if they were mad at each other, or if they didn't feel like it, they shared a dinner.
even if it was spend in silence, it was a rule that was being followed ever since jisung and junho were little kids.
"so, I need you guys to be free on Saturday next week."
mrs. han said.
"can't, friend has a birthday party."
junho said.
"and im playing on guitar in the coffee shop."
jisung added.
"that wasn't a question, that was a statement."
mrs. han said.
"there is a charity ball we're going to attend, all of us. you don't have a choice. a tailor will come over tomorrow to try new fabrics, and we're going to order you a new suits."
"when is this tailor coming over?"
junho asked.
"around two in the afternoon."
mr. han said.
"mkay."
junho nodded, already planning how to sneak out and be back by two.
"and also, the lee family will be at the ball as well, isn't that amazing? I heard you're getting along amazingly with minho."
mrs. han said.
both jisung and junho started choking on their food, absolutely speechless.
they were so fucked.

"what the fuck are we going to do now?"
jisung asked, pacing around junho's room.
"if minho sees there are two of us..."
"I know!"
junho groaned, grabbing his hair in frustration.
"it's so fucking messed up! I have no idea what to do!"
"I mean we have to figure out something!"
jisung said.
"we have a week to come up with a plan."
"look, if everything falls apart, you can just stay aside and pretend like you don't exist while I deal with the rest. I know you hate these things anyway."
junho said.
"you know how much I would love to agree, but I'm pretty sure mom and dad are actually going to make sure that we're both in the main hall."
jisung said, frustrated.
"how about I just pretended I was sick or something?"
"yeah right, that definitely would't be suspicious."
junho said sarcastically.
"I don't know, at least I'm trying to come up with something!"
jisung whined.
"well either way we're fucked. how are we supposed to be in the same hall and make sure minho sees only one of us, but mom and dad sees both of us?"
junho sighed.
"no idea. unless you have a friend who can do magic and turn one of us invisible for lee minho we're screwed. you know, it's never too late to admit what we did to him. "
jisung said.
"no way. you know what would mom and dad do if they found out?"
junho whisper-yelled.
"yeah you would be fucked."
jisung said.
"big time. I'm already on the edge because of the smoking and partying. if they found out I'm sending you on the dates with minho in my place...I'm scared they would not give the group to me."
"junho that's too much. you're the favorite child, you're going to be the heir even if you robbed a bank and was arrested."
jisung rolled his eyes.
"no jisung, I'm pretty sure that it would be a huge deal if this bubble bursted. so you gotta promise that we're in this together, and that we're going to get trough the ball somehow."
junho said.
jisung sighed, closing his eyes for a few moments, before nodding.
"okay, I promise."
"thank you."
junho said, patting jisung's back.
"we got this bro. we only have to trust each other."

the next day in the afternoon jisung and junho made their way downstairs, where they saw their parents, and beside them stood a tailor they knew too well.
he was making their suits and clothes for events like this ever since they were little.
"okay, let's do this. junho, you go first."
mrs. han nudged junho.
with a sigh, junho spread his arms, letting the tailor get his measurements, before taking the samples of fabrics and putting it against junho, letting his parents pick out the best one.
"this one would really let his features shine."
the tailor said.
"hmm, it looks really good, but I want to see if there is another one that looks even better. he's the heir, he has to look amazing."
mrs. han said.
"I agree."
mr. han said.
"alright."
the tailor put the fabric away, before taking every single one that looked a bit similar, showing them off.
"oh my god, this is the one."
mrs. han clapped her hands.
"the gold with the dark blue just looks like a night sky, it's absolutely perfect."
"amazing."
the tailor said.
"now mister jisung."
jisung unsurely stepped on the place junho was in just seconds ago, and after the tailor took his measurements, the whole thing repeated again.
"since junho is the heir, we want him to shine. jisung can have a similar suit, but without the gold. or do you have a specific wish?"
mrs. han asked, looking at her son.
jisung shook his head.
"let's try the blue fabric's then."
the tailor said, taking out the samples and started putting one by one against jisung, his parents trying to find the best one.
"I think this one is really good."
mr. han said.
"no, no, no, it's too light. do you have more darker shades?"
mrs. han said.
"darker, got it."
the tailor said, going trough the samples and picking out the darkest ones, before showing them off on jisung again.
"oh this one is amazing. it perfectly fits him, and it matches junho's fabric in color as well, it only doesn't have the gold spots! amazing."
mrs. han clapped her hands.
"make the pants both black, exactly the same."
"and the masks?"
the tailor asked.
"wait, what masks?"
junho asked.
"it's a masked ball, didn't I mention that?"
mrs. han said.
junho and jisung looked at each other, fighting back the smirk.
maybe they would be able to deal with this situation after all.
